The babies were 3 weeks yesterday. I evicted the auto to the corner and moved the babies into the closet this morning. I see root tips poking out the drainage holes on most and the leaves are to the sides of the pot on most as well, so they are ready for transplant. I just watered them yesterday, so when they are almost ready for a drink, I will transplant them. They are ready for some food as well, the cotyledons just started yellowing. I'm transplanting them into 1 gallons with fresh happy frog, so I'm not adding anything to the tiny pots, they'll have fresh dirt to feed on in a few days. Everyone is growing at thier own pace, time to start watering them indiviually, think Candy Dawg was a little moist still, she looks sad... but I have been moving them all morning. Grandmommy Purple is getting quite tall and lanky, I'm questioning whether she may actually be a granddaddy... but too soon to tell of course. Everyone looks healthy so far. Sounds like you got your way with hubby. Without threatening him?
They were already started when he had his change of heart... I'm not going to just off a bunch of healthy babies I paid money for... negotiations continue. Think I'm going to use my MacGyver skills to hide them better, add to the fence with some shade cloth or something.

@TSD Does growing in your state require a license? We're not allowed to grow here in Washington without a license.

It's a gray area, soon everyone will be "allowed" to grow 3 in flower and 3 babies, so 6 mature for my house... but I'm not big on being told how to live and have been doing it outside for a couple decades. 🤷‍♀️ We had a med card so technically we'd be legal had we not let it expire lol.

Apparently we're starting with pests ahead of schedule this year... can't tell if it's an aphid, thrip or spider mite... found one tiny white speck and some nice suck damage on one Cinderella XX. Turned off the light and sprayed everyone with Lost Coast. Oh please don't let it be another year where everything goes wrong lol.. Maybe the auto will get infected so I have an excuse to launch her tiresome ass out. Will spray again in a few days and probably disinfect the closet first. 🙄

Here it goes by household not person. Making alcohol goes by person here.

Same in New York, not sure where you are.

Ill always have 6 inside and im not gonna shut down inside to grow outside, thats for damn sure, so ill always be over my limit.

CT. Not allowed to grow outside here. Must be in your primary residence and can’t be visible from the road. And cloning is illegal 🙄

I wonder if an outdoor greenhouse in the backyard counts as indoors 😅

I’ll always be over my limit, but it shouldn’t matter because nobody knows except for like 2 people, which are my closest friends.

Cloning is illegal? what fkin brainiac came up with that one? Where do these fkin naysayers dream up their restrictions? If I hop through 1 hoop I can grow 4 if I pay and hop through another hoop I can grow 12 , If I pay more I'm legal? Why the fk do we have laws that give the wealthy special laws?

Yep. I’m assuming the cultivars lobbied against clones and plant amounts to slow their profit losses. The just approved another 16 or so growers, so the 4 cultivars (CTPharma, AGL, Theraplant, and I always forget the 4th) in the state will start having competition this year, so it’s easier to screw the consumer.

Check into the greenhouse thing because where I’m at in Calley, they are considered outdoors and illegal.

I honestly don’t care if it’s illegal or not. It can’t be seen from the street and can’t see inside of it unless you walk into my backyard. I’m only planning on doing a few autos and that’s it - once that’s done, no more outdoor grow.

FWIW, I didn’t know it was illegal to grow outdoor and last fall I had 2 plants in plain view on my back deck (you could see them from the road) and nothing happened. I know the cops saw them as they were driving through the neighborhood (highly uncommon), and they didn’t do anything about it - not that I want to tempt fate, which is why I won’t have them in the open now.

I don't think anyone likes being told how to live. Growing without a license is illegal here. I can't see any way the state could control indoor growing, though. My little 2x4 tent can produce a lot of weed and no one needs to know I have it.

I got my medical card last fall, so now I can grow up to 15 plants, inside and/or outside. It's a relief not to worry about the law. Outside plants do have to be inconspicuous, but I would do that anyway to keep them from being ripped.

I was elated to live in one of the first two states to legalize recreational cannabis. But I was disappointed that growing wasn't allowed. I'm sure that's to support business. I understand the state is getting massive revenue from cannabis sales. The feds won't allow it to be classified as an agricultural crop, but if it were, it would be the fourth largest in the state.

4 weeks today. They are ready for transplant, but not root bound, going to push it another few days till my perlite comes via ups since nobody local had it yet and I'm not transplanting without it. Debating on topping before transplant, but I think waiting is fine too. I usually don't get much transplant shock, so I think topping a few days to a week after transplant should be fine... or would you just do it now? They are working on thier 5th and 6th sets of leaves now, if you don't count the first one blade leaves.
They're thirsty in these pics, just watered after I took these , except for 3 smaller ones that were still a little heavy, probably hit them up tonight. Gave them a light dose of Farmer's Pride Blue Planet Grow... bought some new goodies so I can try @CannaGranny 's method this year. Don't want to over do it because they will have plenty to eat in the new soil, but they look like they needed a little something and it has been a month in ffof. Sprayed twice with loast coast, only the one Cinderella XX had any signs of an invader and it hasn't progressed. I've been putting a few at a time near the sad auto under the led for a couple hours at a time so they can get used to it, I will have to add it to the closet once they outgrow the footprint of the florescent. I would like to start some early training by bending, but probably best I just wait for the sake of space... I can aggressively scrog them like CannaGranny does when the time comes.

Will this be a netted or free roam grow?
Well, I have 2 scrogs set up in the garden already... I might move them so I can fit a couple more... of course that means digging new holes and extra manual labor lol. I'll likely need to have a few at a second location like I usually do, not sure if I'll scrog there or not. I do enjoy a good scrogging though, so I would like to scrog as much as I can. 😁🤓🤣
