Oh man, that's rough! Those things are like industrial strength adhesive... I stepped on one in my room that I had moved to reorganize, was wearing oofos... which are like sandals made of foam/croc like material... it straight up removed a layer of the tread when I ripped it off.So, I had a first today and I hope it will be the last!
Growing organic, sometimes it hatches out organic gnats. By habit if I need them or not, every grow I use yellow sticky traps. They slide inside of a stand up holder and I stick them below the foliage in each pot.
I crawled under my canopy to remove some spent leaves and somehow managed to get my hair stuck in a sticky trap! What a fricken mess! I have long hair!
Treating the glue like one would were it bubblegum calls for peanut butter.. I’m sure you get the pic.
Insert here..*cuss word cuss word cuss word*
Looks kind of like this..View attachment 1958727
I can drink coffee and go to sleep too, and also thoroughly enjoy sunning myself on rocks... I have several sunning spots on my river rocks. I've also done probably more than my fair share of hallucinogens... maybe that explains my freaky dreams and pretty regular occurrence of lucid dreaming?I also drink coffee right up until about 9/ 9:30 pm every night, we're in bed between 11:30 - 12. I don't have any trouble falling to sleep but I'm awake 3-4 times shuffling or a cat comes walking over me.....its my alien gene's
I tell folks willing to listen about my abduction theory....lol....You see a long time ago I did a lot of drugs...like acid many times. I think during one of those times I must have been abducted. I have a standing heart rate Beats / min around 50...
( grisly bear ) I like to lay on rocks and sun my self ( lizard ). I still like climbing tree's
( squirrel ).....I can drink coffee and it doesn't keep me awake (Sloth) I have other amazing features you'd have to see to believe....it had to be an abduction I don't feel mortal.......lol
TOTAL SOIL NERD WARNING!I think you'd have severe sleep deprivation if you never entered REM sleep... I smoke a lot and dream a lot.
In other news, I smoked a strong Sativa and accidentally dug like a 30 plus gallon hole a little while ago.

Yeah I'm not planting in that crap... I'm removing it, chucking it in my kid's sandbox, and filling the holes with soil, a mixture of @CannaGranny's mix on top and I'm distributing my used super soil from years past in the bottom of the holes, since I dug to China on half of them and Happy Frog ain't cheap lol. I removed approximately 4 wheelbarrows full of rock from the 4 new holes. Basically just using the hole like an in ground planter lol.TOTAL SOIL NERD WARNING!
You are planting in a soil type of the Spodosol order. I'm going to guess the interface between the light brown topsoil and the rusty-colored subsoil has a thin layer of dark, reddish sand that is kind of cemented or otherwise stuck together.
Organic matter and limestone are probably your friends.
Sure wasn’t how I planned to spend the day! Thanks goodness it was all up and just caught an area of hair instead of all of it! Peanut butter will loosen it, but man what a damn mess! My hair after several washings still has an oil in it from the peanut butter.Oh man, that's rough! Those things are like industrial strength adhesive... Speaking of sleep... 3:30 am and I'm wide awake cause I fell asleep with my kid at like 8:30 after my day of manual labor. Sonofabitch.
Steam deck is popular in my family. Most of the under 30’s have one.Morning morning, rain rain rain.
So this is what I've been up to lol....
Wanted to share my new toy I got from China. It's a little Linux box built into a controller that has emulators for old game systems and a few Linux game ports like quake, doom, cavestory, digger...

It's crazy how cheap this stuff is and how much I would have paid for something like this when I was younger lol
Hope everyone has a great weekend! Going to be raining here, but still might go hiking. Got to get out
Got 7 of the 12 holes done. My body feels it.The weather man says i got 5 days to recover. rain rain rain. Hope i can get some more doneSunny here, and of course I feel like I got hit by a truck after yesterday's digging marathon. I also did a bunch of yard cleanup, took down piles of morning glory vines, distributed the seeds around the fence for additional stealth, covered the perimeter with some topsoil from the holes and some of last year's planters. Planted a bunch of gladiolus, did some mulching, made dinner, had a fire, showered and passed tf out. Trying to motivate to go get a few more bags of happy frog today, but I'm not sure my back will let me lift them lol. I'm still in winter sloth mode, transitioning to summer Swamp witch mode.![]()

My hair after several washings still has an oil in it from the peanut butter.I’m supposed to be on the range at nine this morning, so it’s for sure a hat hair kinda day! Betcha I don’t do that again!
BTW, nice holes ya dug there!
I did 4 new ones and am using two existing. I'll still need to do 2 more at my second location, and my dad's two as well, if he decides he wants them.Got 7 of the 12 holes done. My body feels it.The weather man says i got 5 days to recover. rain rain rain. Hope i can get some more done
I like to chop up the walls of the hole so that organic matter gets in there and allows the hard soil to break down around the initial hole.Yeah I'm not planting in that crap... Right there with haven’t had a dream I remember in long ass time 10/15 years plusYeah i dont remember the last time i had a dream.
Someone was trying to get me to do a study with them, i just dont have it in me to remember shit lol.
Yeah I think that's how I ended up with a couple giant holes... "oh I'll just loosen this up, remove that rock" bam, whole side falls in and now I gotta remove it from the hole... I think they'll have plenty of space for thier roots, and if not, that sandy crap isn't very compact, they'll be able to branch out.I like to chop up the walls of the hole so that organic matter gets in there and allows the hard soil to break down around the initial hole.
About the same but smoking for about 25 years.Right there with haven’t had a dream I remember in long ass time 10/15 years plus
