Hello!

I'm in week 2 and this little guy seems to be struggling.

I think it's either a calcium of magnesium issue but im not quite sure. Would anyone have an easy fix for this for my next feed?

I'm using happy frog potting soil from Fox Farms mix with a little bit of Gaia green 4 4 4. I feed with water mixed with liquid seaweed.

I agree , looks way over saturated. If continued it can lead to root rot, which can can cause nutrient deficiencies, lockouts or worse- instant death. I usually don't use nutes until I get at least 3 nodes. Also like Dean stated they look a bit leggy, so you could lower the light and in turn that will help dry the soil faster. In seedling I try to stick to a solo cup filled halfway then work up size in pots from 1liter to 3gallons then switch to 5 or 7 gallons before flower switch. When starting from seed in a bigger container its really easy to overwater. I only grow photos so I always look forward to transplanting to bigger containers & inspecting my substrate & roots.

You dont need nutes for a while with that medium. And should be watering like probly once a week. Stretching is caused by lights being to far away what lights are you using and how far above the canopy are they.

What's your temps & rh? Is it a auto or photo? How confident do you feel about transplanting to a smaller container or one that you could bury them a bit deeper for stability? Do you have a fan on them yet? That can help dry the soil & also the breeze tells them to work on root stability so they don't fold over. I use happy frog as a base but I dr it up to enhance drainage. If you can't transfer to another container , you could drill some breather holes in your containers to help dry the soil out faster too.

Temp is about 68 - 70, It's a photo plant and I have the light about 16 inches away from them. I did turn down the LED recently its a 1000w spiderfarm running at about 35% capacity. I have a fan above the light circulating air as well. I also actually went ahead and buried the little guy quite a bit deeper while waiting for responses. I'm still learning and mis judged the stretch they would have when I germinated them.

So would the liquid seaweed be a bad idea? I added the Gaia green to the soil mix but it's practically negligible since I used a VERY small amount.

if your in FFHF and only 2 weeks in i doubt you any nute issues.
and by the look of the stretch i'd correct your lighting issue
I didnt plant the seedlings deep enough as I'm a little inexperienced in this. It's my second grow 😅 I did anticipate that I didn't put the seed deep enough so I was able to fix that issue about 5 minutes ago.

I'd hold off on the seaweed for a bit. Happy frog comes with guano & ewc and that should be sufficient until you get 3-5 nodes & Then I'd start adding your nutes. Seedlings can burn very easily until their root system is fully developed. As for waterings , scratch a inch or 2 to check if it's dry then add a Dixie cup or 2 , if is still moist underneath let it ride. As for light I'd either lower it to 12-14" or turn up the intensity to 40-50%. Can you get the temps up a bit to say 73-75? Maybe lowering the light a bit or increasing intensity will increase temps.. I'm not sure what your tent or ventilation status is. If outdoor air or indoor from lungroom? No biggie though it's all easy fix, you got this 💪
