I wash too, but I wet trim the big leaves and tips of the smaller ones. Does take a substantial amount of time, I'm averaging 1 plant down a day.

BTW, do you inspect for mold before you cut her down?
And I saw trees near your grow, I'm told the ones in the hedgerow near mine are the source of Septoria I battle every year. Do you have that problem?
I had mold/bud rot on one of mine that's still outside and some beginning on one lower sucker branch the one that I just harvested ...I did a 3% peroxide wash 1 cup per 5 gallons..and it went better than when i tried lemon juice baking soda method
The other plant outside I was able to cut off everything close to the bud rot and it survived
Turning purple from the 40 degree weather last few nights

I've just spent the 8th day outside cutting and trimming my plants and I'm soooo tired. Oh, and it frosted very heavy this morning, 38 degrees, and I had to bundle up like winter 'cause the temp. never got above 50 with a 15 mph wind and no sun.
Keep telling myself, it's okay to leave some of it out there. And my aching back agrees.

Wait, what about the lower branches you left out there?

No matter what outside brings my indoor hydro is always on point and producing ... I just thought this year give outdoor a chance... I'm already planning next year's if that says anything.lol

I brought the last of them in this morning.

Oh right I was up hella early as usual. I uh, I forget the morning, come evening time.

Lost 3 banana hammock crowns to white mold, my fault. If you bud wash be sure the buds are dry before hanging to dry, moms hair blower if necessary. Rushed hanging on a cloudy day after washing then moved them in to dry, after two days i saw white deep in the crown bud, opened it to find the densest mycellium i ever saw, like a q-tip, then another and a third. Lower buds seem fine but i’m pretty sure some water ran down the hanging stalks and never dried. Otoh, whats left of the hammock has some pm showing up and cut off botrytis earlier. The orher hammock had no problems but smaller bud.

Ah jeez. That sucks. Water in the buds, huh? Hmm.

Nobody likes fungus in the banana hammock.
