Maybe. Some people love running 18, some even 24/7. In hydro the plant can be pushed to maximize growth in a very short time. I haven't tried it personally but I've see others do it through the years. Just depends on how you're growing and how quick a turnaround you want from seed to harvest.

I think 24/7 is absurd. And I mean it’s not like I’m not giving it rest. Plus it’s not like us right. No way a plant NEEDS 8 hours of sleep every night. But yeah rest is important.

I used Gaia green in my 15 and seven gallon fabric pots, when I was getting low I switched over to build a soils craft blend. So right now I’m running both side by side. I don’t see any noticeable differences between the two.

I think it’s okay, I’ve run autos on a 24/0 and 20/4, as well as 18/6 . But I don’t see any harm in 20/4 for photos.
