Just rest assured i would never suggest you do anything I haven’t done a shit ton to know.Captain told me about this trick for when you want to super crop but feel like it’s bad timing. Pretty awesome idea!!
I’m sure there will be some adjustments over the next few days but it seems like it will work..

No they are differentthe end of the branch will be stood up by morning lol. youll def find yourself making some adjustments over time lol. ive always called it lst (low stress training) always called supercropping hst lol. Seems like no one does that anymore.
Also, question, is "mainlining" the same thing as scrog, or supercropping? Or am i missing something there. Just making sure i have my lingo correct now lmao.
I know what super cropping is lol. Years ago and ever since ive just called it HST til i came back onto forum land. everything ive seen being called mainlining just looks like a combination of lst and topping + lolipopping into a screen. Didnt know there was a single word for it other than scrog. Didnt see that terminology around the forums way back.No they are different
Mainline you are manipulating multiple stalks after you have pruned top.
Super cropping is a stalk by stalk thing for controlling head room if you are running out,
And to maximize every node on said stalk.
You crop a stalk with 15 nodes, let it veg a little, then flip, 15 colas. Best for maximizing nodes outdoor. Best for controlling headroom indoor.
To be clear, I did “lightly” super crop these tops first. I slow rolled them in my fingers for a while but wanted to be sure not split the stalks. So yeah, they definitely would have stood up by morning, but they are relatively limp as it is, with the weights there to hopefully keep them in place..the end of the branch will be stood up by morning lol. youll def find yourself making some adjustments over time lol. ive always called it lst (low stress training) always called supercropping hst lol. Seems like no one does that anymore.
Also, question, is "mainlining" the same thing as scrog, or supercropping or lst? combo? Or am i missing something there. Just making sure i have my lingo correct now lmao.
This is a great mainlining video on multiple levels..I know what super cropping is lol. Seeing the branch jig rigged up just spurred on the thought lol.

I figured. I’m new to the craft but I’m sure you guys were mainlining before mainlining was a thing ;)i know the growing technique, thats basically what i do to maximize yield in small plants. I just never bothered to distinguish it from lst/topping/lolipopping/defoliating and scrogging in a "single word for the combined technique" kinda way.
Just wanted to make sure i knew exactly what the term referenced lol
Same to you homie!!!!HAppy Fourth Of July Gents
Am I crazy? He did ask a question wanting to know, lol, I answered, and he’s like “I know”I figured. I’m new to the craft but I’m sure you guys were mainlining before mainlining was a thing ;)
