Fuuuuuuuck bro.The hospital called again about 10 minutes ago since my mom's knocked out apparently. He got out of surgery on his left leg and they're keeping him until at least Monday when they're doing another procedure. The right leg isn't as bad but the doctor said that could change fast since the tissue is still swelling. He also can't pee without a catheter.
Just for reference, here's the stand after they cut it off and set it up, going the extra mile. Not sure how much it weighs but I'd say it's a good 15 feet tall. The spring under the tractor seat probably cushioned the blow a bit. Luckily it wasn't a torso or head shot since that would be game over.

Oh no, UPPERCUT
Very sorry to hear this! Glad he was able to get air lifted! Those guys and gals are top notch! Try and take care of yourself too! (Big internet hug)My step father had his legs crushed trying to set up a deer stand today. Almost 70 years old, in the woods by himself doing this with a tractor. His phone was under the tractor seat so he couldn't call for help. Eventually he was heard hollering in the woods and a rescue team had to cut the stand off him.
The hospital just called and said he has compartment syndrome and his toes are turning blue so they have to make cuts in his legs to relieve the pressure. He doesn't have feeling in his left leg.
Just don't do shit like this by yourself no matter how old you are.

Maybe it was in a dreamGood evening Gents. And perhaps ladies, what do I know.
I have seen something somewhere. I believe it to be an electric herb vaporizer that you hang around your neck and smoke through a hose. Now I really want one. Like really really. But I cant remember where I saw it and I dont think he ever said what it was called.
Hang in there Capt.I shall have a nice jay today.
Plural jays for thy dome,
Coffee is brewing.
It’s a 2grams of wax in the coffee today…..
So, the heat has been oppressive, stifling and generally FUCKING RIDICULOUS,
Outdoor folk, take the proper precautions, there is like zero ozone. It’s nuts when you at sea level getting the same conditions as 2000ft, I’ve gotten sun poison all over my head from a fresh haircut and no helmet in Utah. Not fun at allllll. So the threat is real no matter where you atm.
I also have some ridiculous freak hurricane beryl toying with making landfall pretty damned close to here. So fuck the heat, or weather in general atm. I’m gonna go check the generator for my grow, and the other for the house, clean carbs and swap the spark plug. Punch it five times for good luck. Go make sure all of my Jerry cans are full. By 4pallets of toilet paper, as is the custom these days, maybe food, but most likely more tp.
I wish everyone a great grow today.

The ol college effort is turned up to maximum kitty cat ferocityHang in there Capt.
HST is probably the best overall defenition of it, the spider leg, super low flat top technique most call mainlining is more of a subsection of HST that people have honed in on to get a very specific plant structure, depending on their individual needsyou answered my question
This is probably just that socially abrasive thing i do. I def didnt mean to come across in any kinda pissy way.
had read mainlining as a term a few times today, but wasnt sure what in the pics was being talked about xD didnt wanna look it up. I asked in a dumb way expecting it to be a single technique name like lst, or hst or something.
Mainlining just describes the whole thing kinda like sea of green or soemthing. didnt realize that lmfao.
I went in expecting a comedy, but what i was delivered, was one of the most accurate and true-to-life tragedies ever written.Watched it for the first time a few years ago and the whole time I was really having a hard time getting into it because we as society have literally turned into this! Now that I know were all doomed and just waiting for the overlords to abduct us into the next dimension of our existence, its fucking hilarious!![]()
every time i get a ride to my moms place, shes dragging around a yard cart shes filled over the ende with dirt and sod, and shes struggling with it. Shes thrown her back out a couple times this season already, she barely eats or drinks anything, and her body is literally destroying itself now. A back thats already held together by steel rods and bolts because she doesnt know, and has never known how to use her body effectively in labor. She has a constant history of hurting herself, and refusing help with work. Shes 60 now, and shes making is a bigger point then ever to prove to herself she can still do stuff she should have stopped doing a decade ago.My step father had his legs crushed trying to set up a deer stand today. Sorry to hear that, about 15 years ago my neighbor went out hunting on his own one morning, they knew roughly where he was (straight behind the house about a mile) when he didn’t return home they knew something was wrong, sadly he fell from the stand they figure he fell asleep and wasent tied off, they found him the next morning passed away.My step father had his legs crushed trying to set up a deer stand today. That lawnmower I posted yesterday, main reason to get it running was to haul up food from the garden for the wife she was using the wheelbarrow uphill to the house, I know she’ll eventually hurt herself because she’s one of those I’ll be fine people, so imma get this running just to put a cart on the back, I use the zero turn to cut the lawns but she won’t touch itevery time i get a ride to my moms place, shes dragging around a yard cart shes filled over the ende with dirt and sod, and shes struggling with it. Shes thrown her back out a couple times this season already, she barely eats or drinks anything, and her body is literally destroying itself now. I bought her a smaller cart so she would stop overfilling the big one, and she wont touch it. When i use her cart, i dont even fill it but like half of what she does, because any more then that is just a bad idea, no matter the context lol. Most sundays i show up there, there are several spilled piles of dirt in her yard i clean up. Every time i automate one of her gardens, next time im up shes dug out and lined a new one twice as far from the house. The last one is almost a hundred yards away, and shes been complaining to me almost every day how much of a nightmare it is to carry 5 gallon buckets that far to take care of the garden.
Im only there once, maybe twice a week, she *never* takes her phone into the yard. Ive already showed up one day this year to her being covered in sunburn because her back went out and it took her the rest of the day just to get back up to the house. She doesn't even call people when that happens. All she's actually concerned about is embarrassment and her own pride unfortunately.
I already know how this ends, and it scares me to death. Mom is steamrolling full speed ahead into her own grave with a smile on her face, because she thinks itll make her live longer. All its going to do is put her in an early grave. Shes probably going to end up face down unable to move, with no phone, and no neighbors. Probably some time this year. I found out about one thrown back when She got down to eating raw green beans before she even asked any of us to help her get to the store or even told any of us it happened, and i call her every evening.
Sorry, had to get it out, but my mom scares me. Her mom, my grandmother, went out facedown in the yard with no one around because she had a stroke while trying to push a wheelbarrow filled with bricks after asking no one for any help. She did the same stuff my mom does. Makes dangerous decisions just to prove to herself she can do something, while actively fighting against any help. She was only 3 years older then my mom now when that happened, and in better general health too.
hahahahhaha
