I have one 3’ percolator that I used for a while. It’s hits like a hurricane but I can’t stand cleaning it. I’ve used everything from Formula 420 to Randy’s to straight ammonia and there is always s*** stuck somewhere completely visible as the rest glistens.

I use a 50/50 mix of salt & 99% rubbing alcohol (about 1/2 cup ea)
and it cleans my rig out spotless. Just put it in, cover the holes &
shake the piss out of it.

I have one piece. It’s a Jerome Baker bong that my dad caught my brother smoking in the late 90s, he threw it across the yard where it bounced off the ground and into a brick wall. It only broke the stem and I don’t remember about the bowl. I snatched it up during the event. Replaced the stem and several bowls over the years.

When the light goes down to 12 hours or less, the leaves start to manufacture a substance that triggers flowering, which gets transported to all over the plant.

Florigens are produced in the leaves, and act in the shoot apical meristem of buds and growing tips.

That's what i was thinking (that it seems impossible but the photo looks real).

I wonder if since the florigen is synthesized in the leaves, and transported to the shoot apical meristem, you might be able to control it with pruning.

I'm picturing it as a traveling up the shoot to the apex, and if there is bare stem beneath that if might not travel down. I know florigen has 2 types. SAM (SHOOT APICAL MERISTEM= top growth) and RAM (Root APICAL Meristem = root growth).

Will SAMs only travel up if there are no leaves producing florigen on any other part of the plant?

So here’s a few pictures of my current messy situation.

This whole grow has been plagued by thrips and then spider mites. Which I thought I had taken care of with multiple sprayings of captain jacks dead bug during veg cycle, but then they returned during flower. So I mixed up 91% isopropyl alcohol, and 3% hydrogen peroxide and water in three equal parts and hit them again. Then took cotton swab qtips and collected all the webbing and dead bugs a day later. I will probably have to repeat this again. All the stress of the PBB X CMAN reveg clone being so close to the light and attacked by pest has really brought out a stronger terp profile and sticky buds, more so than her mother. The tent is in its 5th week of flower at this point . Well that’s my mess. Just thought I’d share with everyone. Happy Saturday
