Hey bear! Yep, just got back home from FL, had to clean up and put Mom's mobile home on the market. Was on for 1 day and got a decent offer. yay.
Got all my seeds out and been sorting. I know I can't start any weed yet, but I have some perennial flowers I'm trying this year. But first I have to set up my lighting and space in the back bedroom.
(hubby just walked in and said, "you have ALOT of seeds") LOL

Aw thats good! Sorry all that was probably less than fun to deal with, but sounds likes its going as good as it can! did you tell him “your planting all of them!” ?

The wife and I were just talking about needing to get some seeds for the garden. been thinking about only doing a few things but really taking care of them and having some snacks for the kids to munch on! Last years garden kind of fell through!

@cpurola septoria may not be systemic, and it may not be directly harmful...

But i had 3 big plants with septoria prettyy bad this year. And all three of these plants cured up, they all share a similar uniqueness to their flavor, a tea tree/dog shampoo kinda smell. they all make me cough more then my other flowers (and its not that resiny "catch cough" that makes ya go Ooooo)

The first time i spent a day smoking on the septoria buds couple months ago i ended up with a scratchy chest cough for a couple dayas, then a mild uncomfortable bronchitis about 3-4 days later. Didnt put two and two together because of the time of year, that kinda stuff can just happen because im a cigg smoker.,

Well about 4-5 days ago i busted out a different spetoria infected flower and spent a day sampling it. As of yesterday into today im developing a bronchitis again after a few days of a scratchy cough.

Could be a coincidence, but it doesnt feel like it. Ive eaten plenty of edibles from these plants, and smoked plenty of hash and dabs from them. Its just the smoked flower doing it, but im 99% sure its something to do with the septoria infection. Id need to try the 3rd plant for a day to be sure but im unwilling now lmao.

Figured this may be info youd want to keep in mind. Ill be keeping septoria flower exclusively for dabs and edibles now. i def wont be smoking the flower.

Alright I burned em all

I moved the center m86 to the right and right m86 to the center . I am naming that one lil nips. The pb2 front left is rocking yellow gold tint. The left rear m86 I got to burn the tips… playing with the light. The right rear special queen looks like hell. She’s got all kinds of things I don’t know what is going on but at the same time I see them on the farm.

I have been sick for over a month and it keeps coming back. No septoria, bronchitis, and I don’t smoke tobacco. I straight up had a solid headache from 12-29 to January 31. It went away and now I feel like shit again starting feb 2. No headache, cough, sniffles, and no energy.

If it doesnt last as long as a lung funk usually does for me, i will definitely be associating it with the septoria flowers.

Im a cigg smoker when i catch a real lung funk, a virus or infection or something it usually dogs me for a while.

it popping up after the last flower then leaving as quick as it came, but then popping up right after the second one on the same (more or less) interval of time def has me raising an eye brow in the direction of the septoria fungus, or something the plants may do as a defense against the infection maybe. It definitely changes the terpene chemistry and texture of the flowers, that much is very obvious with the septoria flower in hand vs results from the uninfected clones of the same plants. (i took the clones in spring before all the biting leafhoppers and late summer leaf fall brought in the septoria)

Thanks for posting that. I do have some of the septoria infected flower and haven't done anything with it yet.
Glad to hear it can be 'cleaned up'. Think I'll try tossing it in the washing machine to make bubble hash.
But I'm waiting for warmer weather, was 18F this morning.

the special queen is prob just a list of samall deficiencies compounding each other, which is also gonna make her more light sensitive, and being in flower shes not going to fully recover very easily.

The special queen is one of my heaviest feeding plants, i can feed her every watering with solubles and she just out grows everything else i have besides the Columbian giant.


When you rerun that clone just give her extra root space and earlier, bigger up-pottings, and shell probably blow your mind, both her moms blow mine.

lol you misunderstand. im not trying to say you have septoria over there. I doubt its even a thing in AZ to begin with, not wet enough., just explaining why im somewhat confident my own lung issue is from septoria not environmental


The info is more for @cpurola then anyone else because she saw a lot of septoria with her plants last season too.


I saw very few outdoor growers in 2024 that didnt have it somewhere and it was on most the trees out here too. 2024 was the year of septoria plague for the outdoor growers seemed like.

Damn dude that sucks! My littlest little just got over one of the influenzas, it knocked her little butt into the dirt : ( she’s better. Now my 7 year old is not feeling well. I’m just glad it was only coming out one end! that one is going around also! Have you got any blood work done? Might be worth looking into. Hope you start feeling better soon!

Septoria or stupid high heat. I’m glad it’s 2025. But since the glass is always half full, 2024 was full of lessons that I may never need again, but I’m always going to keep filed away for the next time Mother Nature wakes up and chooses violence.
