So here is a pile of pictures of lollipopped plants.
Strip ths bottom 3rd. Maintain through till flower.
Its really wonderful to bring topside growth. For a new person,
Id say leave at least 5 nodes per stalk to save you from possibly going overboard.
Gleen what you can from the pics.
Holler if you need clarification.

When do you take the bindings off of the manifold?

When do you take the bindings off of the manifold?
I leave the clips on the entire grow, stakes i apply and remove a couple few times in veg to spread them out, remove stake they reach, i stake them again, ect. Stakes for pinning will be removed at flip so they can stretch.
As far as the clips they can remain because no matter what nature will find a way it’s not like the clip pinch off any avenue the plant uses in order to uptake nutrients think about trees that grow through cyclone fences no stupid fence stops them. It’s one of the reasons why I have no problems doing stalk splitting or I use a drill, but it’s the same idea. All that kind of stuff does is trigger plants natural defense to produce resin.

Anybody here do 3-D printing? Been trying to find high CFM kits for the tents but I’m looking for something I can just use 3/4” PVC with, like corner clips looking for something similar to these

I don’t use the clips but I tie down the plants, well, spike them down then once I put in my nets I remove the spikes just to be able to move my sprayer wand around easier while watering (did the same with a watering can)

Yeah you start getting around 20-30 mainlines a plant, using a spray apperatus has got to be cumbersome
I use a watering can, and vacuum attachment for cleaning out your dryer vent for reaches.
Works great.
Been thinking about making a 55g trashcan tote along with custom lid that has a pump on it. The kind for evac pumping a cars ac lines. Or the sort used for purging bho.
It would def be handy.
Like if you had 5 fn tents handy hahahahaa

none of this is necessarily directed at anyone in particular lol.

i went to 16/8 vegging, and ill never go back to 18 personally. I can give like 25% more intense light on 16 vs 18 without any burn, and i can get tighter node spacings, and when i flip to 12/12 the nodes dont space out as much during the stretch, the plants across the board are easier to manage and stack into colas better and all my vegging plants just feel happier at 16 in a way thats hard to put my finger on.

I love the findings and the reasonings! So, 2 hours less, turn the lights up enough to get DLI back to where you want it, and then in return get tighter spacing, and save a buck or two on the electric bill. 🤔🤔🤔

And no overall slowdown in development from missing 2 more hours?

maybe im missing a joke here lmao, but...

In what country/universe does 50 grand send you off to a new home and new friends? 🤣 🤣 🤣 It damn sure aint the one i live in. It literally takes $400,000 in 2025 to equal the purchasing power of $50,000 in 1980.

A bank will annoy you for a while over $50

A bank will literally destroy your life forever over 50k

5 tents… who does… oh wait… you’re talking about me… I see what ya did there 🤣

Hell at this point that isint a bad idea haha, ita really not bad, i kninda get into a rotation the 3 big pots in the 2 big tents once every 3-4 days and the smaller ones every 2 or so, once in awhile they meet up and I gotta rush then I get em to break up again

The sprayer is actually nice, it allowed me to drop my lower nets about 14” lower since I don’t have to tip a can under there, each 30 gal I give about 1.5 gallons each so 1 Chaplin full just about, then the same for the Frostette, takes me about 5-6 minutes to empty a can so usually at most it’s a 15 minute watering for the 3 big pots, once I get this 3x3 running it’ll be a bit different but not much, I even looked at adding the spiderfarmer dripper into the mix, with the new GGS AC10 I may just do it we’ll see, then that would be like a once a week tent at most to refill the res

Still debating where I wanna put that tent, I have a Good idea, it may be the centerpiece in my bedroom lol, I’m considering linking it to the 2x4 and 2x2 but not sure yet, I may exhaust this tent straight outside with no filter I have a 4” duct hood for when my 4x8 tent was in that corner so I might as well utilize it lol

There shouldn’t be, if DLI is matched with less hours (as long as it’s more than say 14 hours per day) you should see no change in production

DLI or daily light interval is a total amount of usable light given to the plant in a 24 hour period, so if you have 40 DLI at 18 hours of light, you Reduce your light output then measure DLI and ramp power up u til you match back to 40 DLI based off that amount of hours you want to run, (40 is just an example that’s a hell of a DLI lol)

You can use an app like Photone to measure your DLI, Simple’s change the hours to how many hours you run the light a day and it’ll show your DLI, then just change the hours in the app, then start checking again and increase power till it’s back to where you started with more hours

This can increase heat in the tent of course, as well as increase the need to watch for high humidity with extended dark periods

i fought you said 25k

The fee is $25 for trying to transfer the bigger amount twice.

After some research I better pay it even if I never use that bank again. I hear they can report it and you may not be able to open accounts with other banks since they'll see you as a deadbeat and I'll probably be moving it again in 3 months or so.
