I don't have a temp controller on the cheap ass Vivosun mat I bought. It's too warm, runs about 95 degrees at the mat surface. I use Jenga blocks to put some distance between the mat and the bottom so f the box, checked it with a thermometer and it has a 71-81 range with the blocks. Cuttings look happy and seeds are popping nice in that range. I should point out when I checked temp I stuck a meat probe into the root cubes and in dirt to see what actual temp the plants are sitting in.I’ve never had a problem with the mat temps uncontrolled, even if I set right on them, I’ve tried a few things placing sheet pans between the mat and pots etc dosent seem to make a difference,
What I’m wondering is what everyone sets those controller temps to when they do have them
WELL DONE BRO! Thats not an easy task!Whoop whoop. My overall Anatomy & Physiology grade is 96.01%. but I’m not succeeding for a biochemistry introductory course. Enough of my nonsense. It's time for all of my classes to receive As. or a B, at the very least.
I’m doing my 1 gallon challenge as of now. But with a bag seed. LolWe should do a 1 gallon challenge like thing, but, hesr me out, we all grow the same seeds of whatever and see how many unique phenos we can get! Could be fun![]()
Sure, send me the seedsWe should do a 1 gallon challenge like thing, but, hesr me out, we all grow the same seeds of whatever and see how many unique phenos we can get! Could be fun![]()
Here in California we have black Pinacate beetles and everybody calls them stink bugs but I've never noticed a smell from them even when squishing one. I assume they started being called stink bugs because they stick their ass in the air when they feel threatened.Only when you kill them they themselfe dont spray or stink until crushed
We'll call it Weedstock! The get together is on a big farm in Maine and is set up as a festival
Yeah I cooked some soaking seeds once thinking they needed a mat under them! Hahah. I have the cheap ones without the controller also, they get freaking hot for what it is and what kind of warmth you really do need. I have found that the heat mat is perfect to keep cooler water at a decent temp in my cloner! So thats cool! But way to hot for solos or pots to sit directly on! (Maybe like 3 gal or larger would be ideal?)I don't have a temp controller on the cheap ass Vivosun mat I bought. It's too warm, runs about 95 degrees at the mat surface. That’s a cool idea.We should do a 1 gallon challenge like thing, but, hesr me out, we all grow the same seeds of whatever and see how many unique phenos we can get! Could be fun![]()
I’m there.We'll call it Weedstock!
What upHello,
I was invited to join by a friend. Good meeting you guys.
Is that what you call those big a** things? Stink bugs are different. They smell bad when you squish one. Here in California we have black Pinacate beetles and everybody calls them stink bugs but I've never noticed a smell from them even when squishing one. I assume they started being called stink bugs because they stick their ass in the air when they feel threatened.
The Trainwreck is a Masterclass. My high ass was just having a moment while reading today shit posts
It’s pretty dope how this thread is so we’ll rounded. Got organics, living soil, coco, hydro, beginners, masters, learning teaching. And all around good vibes always.
The world could learn a lesson from the trainwreck

Dude I have enough of the same seeds of a strain to make this happen! Hindu Kush x SFV OG! Guaranteed to have all different phenotypes in there! We should do a 1 gallon challenge like thing, but, hesr me out, we all grow the same seeds of whatever and see how many unique phenos we can get!
