Be careful using those guy wires! You should hang something on them that catches your attention! I’ve went down like a ton of bricks, forgetting they were there and taking the whole kit and caboodle down with me! Especially when half lit!😂🍻 I don’t use them anymore

I hear ya. It’s just an easy spread. There is a fence that will come into play.

Hey everyone, this thread seems to have a lot of eyes on it, so I thought I would ask here (I did create another thread but it didn't get much traction)

Are there any legit bubblegum strains that REALLY taste like bubblegum like back in the early 2000's? Preferably auto but photo will work too. Every suggestion I have gotten, once I dig into it more I find lots of people saying they really dont have that really bubblegum flavor.

Any suggestions?

I grow a Purple Ghost Candy that I got from seedsman that reminds me of grape big league chew. I'm a big bubblegum fan. Especially grape . But I guess your looking for more the bubble tape variety? I would imagine a bubble runtz may be a good one to start with . Or thats the direction I would lean too to look. Most runtz strains I have tried ... Really have a nostalgic flavor profile.

Yeah, im looking for more of the "hubba bubba" strawberry gum. Its kind of like the old skunk, I feel like it may be gone forever, but hoping someone made something similar. I bought "Hubbabubbasmelloscope" and popped one of the two seeds, but it didn't germinate. I have one left so once I pull the 12 I have growing now, I am going to give it another shot.

Oh yeah that's nice and sounds super tasty!! Yeah I have tried a couple bubba.. bubblegum??? autos, when I first started and never got far with them 😭 miss the days of wadded hubba bubba in the mouth!!😄😋

I actually have 2 of the bubblegum from north Atlantic seed co in flower right now. So far, im not impressed. They look nice and I am sure will be good, but they don't have that bubblegum smell so far. 🤷

Not really considered as a bubble gum strain, Pennywise has a taste of bubble gum on the exhale. More of a gum, after you've chewed the sweet out of it.

Looking at these when do you think I should switch to a less or even zero nitrogen fertilizer? In the old days we grew them in the woods and came back a couple times to be sure we didn’t get ripped off. Not much else as far as care. So learning a lot this time. Each of these girls has many obvious bud sites starting. But man we still have a ways to go in our southern summers.

You should probably start now. Typically if you see deficiencies it will be in the first couple of weeks of flower. Since you're a little late I would at least give them a good shot of liquid stuff (phosphorous and potassium) and even a little shot of nitrogen as well to hold them over and then load the soil with whatever granular stuff you are using. I learned my lesson last year so my nitrogen will increase a bit and my bloom nutes are going into overdrive as soon as I see the preflowers this time.

LST is going well in the 10 gallons. Keeping the canopies nice and low and even. It's almost like they are begging me to bend them again.
The ladies in the beds are looking super strong and healthy. Love how well they are responding to the soil I prepped for them. Gonna have to get the first layer of trellis up in the next couple of days so I can start stretching them out.

So switching to a 0-2-2 or 1-2-2 or similar now wouldn’t hurt now? I only use liquid every other 4 days.

No that wouldn't hurt them at all. Definitely get started and increase as the plants tell you to. Just remember the further along they get the hungrier they will be.
Ive been adding a granular 15-15-0 blood and bone meal every 2 weeks since I put mine in the ground. Once I see preflower I'm planning to add a 2-8-8 right on top of it up until about a month before harvest.
Biggest issue for me has always been nutrient deficiencies because I'm afraid to burn them. So trying to be more aggressive this time.

After looking at the other pics in this thread, my enthusiasm for success is rapidly fading.

I'm listening and ready to try, or give up, depending on what folks think?

It was recommended that I trim dying leaves, and I'll do that first thing in the morning.

Shoot looks better than mine. I’m jealous as hell of some of the plants I see in this thread. So don’t sweat it and just roll with it baby.

Thanks brother.

Nah you're good. Looks like the ones in the containers could use some extra fertilizer. But I'm not sure what you've been giving them so I can't say for sure. The ones in the ground look really good overall. The lower leaves yellowing on the one is definitely is a sign of nutrient deficiencies. But overall Good job. We don't judge here. . . . Too much. 😂😂
