Hanging upside down with leaves on does a few beneficial things:

After harvest, hang the whole cannabis plant upside down or chop and hang large branches, leaving all the fan and sugar leaves on. This slows the drying process, helping preserve terpenes and letting buds cure more evenly. Keep your drying room around 60–65°F with 60% humidity, and make sure there’s gentle airflow, not directly on the buds. After about 7–14 days, when the small stems snap cleanly instead of bending, it's time to trim. Dry trim is easier at this point — the leaves will be crisp and curl inward, making them easy to snip off. Once trimmed, jar the buds for curing, aiming for 58–62% RH inside the jars. Burp the jars daily for 10–15 minutes to let out excess moisture and bring in fresh air. After a few weeks of this, your buds will mellow out and smooth up nicely. A proper cure at stable humidity in a cool, dark place will bring out the best in your harvest.

Thanks for advice, I have a plant ready to harvest, I'm gonna try your method. I tried the dry method once before....1st of all I did not hang it upside down, and 2nd I did not wait 7 to 14 days....right now I'm having an issue with my grow house being too warm....I have 2 a/c units running....also 10 LED lights at 50%....they are competing against each other...lol. it is around 55% RH. I need to have a dry and cure house.....

I’ll find the pic! 🤣 its amazing. and it was my life for like 2 years, the little F’er wouldn’t stop “making” sauces, brews, potions, and waters of various animals and insects!🤣 those days are sadly over, he’s 7 now almost 8. on to the next right? now hes making scrambled eggs for everyone because he likes to cook! : ) melts my heart watching him. hes supervised of course (mom is right there the entire time) but he does everything from taking care of the chickens to collecting eggs and all the way through to a finished scramble : ) now if i could only get him to clean his room!😤🤣🤷‍♂️

I've got a nice lemon tree in the yard that my son grew from a store lemon back when he was in the 5th grade. It's going to be hard whenever we eventually sell the place and I have to leave that lemon tree behind.

Hey Craz.......

It's nice to have a place to dry that is within reason of what we're looking for......you know, humidity and temps.....

But that Ain't the case...

My atmosphere for drying is whatever it is outside in CNY....

Nope....not advisable, but it is what I have and truthfully, I make do....whether more airflow or turn the fan/s off.....

That's it....that is all I have to control my drying area....

I've been around long enough, although not nearly long enough, to know one thing.....

I'll smoke my shitty dried, shitty cured flower over any dispo any day of the week....

Yeah, it turns out pretty good, flavor and taste wise......

I guess my point is, ?, I'm not sure....

But regardless, I believe that you will enjoy your harvest!!!!!

Grafting or airlayering could get you a nice clone for portability......if it Evers comes to that....

And for what it's worth.....

If I move, so will my Blueberries.....

Man i hear you! I’ve got 20000 pictures of my kids and this place and its evolutions over the last few years. itll be bittersweet for sure. But im ready when the time comes! 💪✌️ (cant come soon enough!🤣)

Idk if I post this here or not but I was listening to a podcast the other day and dj short was saying that’s what you have to do put the seed in your mouth to make it interact with your dna. Had me cracking up all the way to the seed stash to try it out lol

Dude i was having a hell of time keeping up with my “bro mix” and small pots! Not at all for the faint for heart🤣

im wanting to add a few things and take some perlite out of the mix along with go with a bigger fabric pot.

and a clown is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to! 🤣✌️
