I’ve been just dry sifting my sugars and larf and said I gotta be able to recover more than that off it lol, so bubble hash it is, so the intimidates, just grow bigger plants 😜
🥰😂🤣😂....someone said to me, maybe you. If Ohio goes to 6 plants per household, down from 12. Get better at growing ....instead of 12 plants with 1# yield per plant. Go to 6 plants at 2# per plant. I wish 1#per....well maybe better rethink that.....I can just imagine trim hell with a 1 #plant.#plant

Yeah with bubble bags. It really matters I think what quality you’re looking for but I used a silicone paint mixer on a drill in a five galllon bucket with the bubble bags. Next time I’ll definitely mix it in a seperate bucket then dump in the bags so the bags aren’t in my way and moving all around while mixing. If you opt to mix by hand you get a better finished product because doing it with the drill knocks off extra plant material that will get in your finished product but since I was doing trim and don’t mind having b quality since I’m going to put copious amounts in joints an shit anyway lol but if I was doing fresh frozen a grade flower and trying to make the best hash I can. I would hand mix it very gently and try to get some full melt type shit lol

Basically just put bags in five gallon buckets. Layered ice frozen trim ice frozen trim etc. covered with cold water in let sit for a few and mixed for ten minutes. Did two washes I got like 8 grams not including the lowest grade that has a lot of plant material I’ll probably use for edibles or maybe throw in the next batch i make or something. The rest imma roll into a temple ball tomorrow and see how fast I can smoke it lol

Pretty easy process. Just next time I’ll set myself up a little better to like clean out the bags and shit. Like have a nice spray bottle to get the hash into a nice pile in the bottom of the bags (you’ll see what I’m saying when you do it) lol it was kinda scary seeing that much bud in ice water haha like shit I hope this works haha
I have watched a few videos (I research shit too much before I even try it 🤣)

Maybe try blending for like 5 minutes the first run, let it soak for like 10 minutes then mix for 4-5 trial and error I guess will we each find a technique that works kinda cool a bunch of us are giving it a go the first time all at the same time coincidentally 🤣

What was your reason for trying it?
Mine was I just felt I was wasting good trichromes even after a dry sift even if I ran it twice, you could still see em covered, I ran it fresh, dry, frozen, room temp, seemed roughly the same each time, frozen did best ofc but not by enough margin to make me happy lol

From what I saw they ran it harder the 2nd wash (most of them did 3 washes total when I was watching em do it)

I’ve seen others do it, diddnt think it made much of a difference, at most I’ve seen some do it to let them just ripen a bit further if the tops were ambered heavy and the lowers were not quite there,

But the plant is kinda past the bulking stage at that point and is pushing for maturity
Ive done it....back at my first grow when I made so many mistakes....I saw no difference...l have this plant I am harvesting right now...bottom 4th aren't amber....it will all be ground and smoked.

I will see results through the first 2 runs, maybe do a third. Depends how the first 2 go. My brother has a small operation....he smokes his sugar and snippets of buds. You may say his lungs must be shot...they are...he's smoked cigarettes his whole life. 🤣🤣

Do you wet or dry harvest? Ive done both...I prefer wet harvested. With dry, I feel it's more time consuming. Not to mention when wet harvesting, when the buds are dry you are done....well other than curing. But being dry you can grind a bud and get your reward....tasty treat...a buzz

Yeah it's pretty wild: "The tablets contain a formula of slow-acting organic nitrogen, bone meal fertilizer, blood meal, feather meal, fish meal, natural humic acids and beneficial soil bacteria. The beneficial soil bacteria improve the soil and contribute to the good uptake of the fertilizers..."

NPK is 15-7-8 so it can be used for mature plants from veg to flower. Downside is that it's pretty expensive. I found some alternative stuff but that would require me to order stuff from 4 or 5 different sources.

Seems your plants will still take a bit to finish. Really odd that the auto took so long to switch itself. What strain is it?

p.s. the blood meal is just another high-nitrogen source basically.
It's from the pack of cherry bomb autos from North atlantic seeds... the right side is normal, the light makes it look yellow some but over the last week it's just chromes coming and orange hairs popping but leaf die-off was like 6 huge fan leaves and it's kicking out another today. It looks like Banana Jealousy or whatever banana strain we had in the 90s... the bunker was two rows of 5 under 5 bar lights and I was going nuts thinking they were under N by some wild amount so I'd up the "mike's mix" wtf ever that jug was and it'd get nutrient burn on the tips. I had to just learn that one was "yellow".
The left is also supposed to be cherry bomb auto and the only difference is it was clipped 4th node. Right after that it was like "ok I'm not an auto and DOUBLE your times". It's JUST now got barely flower and got changed over to Bud Charge flowering nutes. Also out of the 4 day water schedule, it looks like death on the last day BUT if I get worried and water/feed a day early leaves will start twisting and shit. Then when it's happy it takes I shit you not 2 hours to look like it's never wanted for water or nutes. Light is just 18/6 solid.
Sounds like I should try bloodmeal then. If just to see.

Our 96-2000 ish grow bunker was like this... on paper. Three of them anyway. Now: replace timber wall with log wall, nice side walls with stolen cinderblocks, crushed stone being any stone we found, roof membrane was a shitload of vinyl roof scraps melted on with tar, and 4x2 car batteries with bar lights (yeah bulb lol). The mini vent fan things were attic solar powered fans for the little vent windows. I think it was 8 PV banks in the trees?
Mike and I built it but he paid for a lot and then took off on Phish Tour so I babysat and took 60%. Seeds were High Times advertisers so idk what company.
Ok now imagine. You have you bad ass bunker but your buddy is gone and you now have the realities of taking care of this fucker lol.

I would have dug underground and saved on materials.😅

And airconditioning bill.
Yes, sir, that's right. At the same time, the room should be slightly removed from the walls and floor, and the air should pass through this void, which will help to get rid of both moisture and temperature fluctuations, and the walls will not become damp. I have already thought everything through, and the roof should be 2 meters wide on each side.

I can make it 10x10 m in size and use only household outlets that do not exceed 25 A at 220 V, and the usable area will be 8x8 m, all of which will be illuminated, heated, and ventilated by a household outlet.😅😎You're probably going to say, "No, that can't be true," but guys, when the cycle is 12/12 hours, with night in one part and day in the other, it's possible.🤣Don't forget that we have a short workweek culture.🤣

That’s my thought on it, you’ve probably all seen what I do by now I make one cut at harvest, the trunk 🫣🤣

When trim time comes I take usually the top 2/3 of the branch to trim and strip the rest into a bucket, ill run through it quick and grab anything worth trimmin up at the end but usually end up with a pretty decent amount usually a few shopping bags full of trim plus the lowers you don’t really realize how big a 4x8 and 4x4 are together till you pack em wall to wall and it dawns on you… you’re the only trimmer 🤣 you quickly start hunting for plants with low leaf to cylax ratios 🤣

And I do whole tents so if the tent has 2 plants I average them get the minimum amber I want across them all then chop all at once some get a bit over amber but I like the variance in the smoke I just remember which one might lock me down for a bit after smokin 🤣

Single plants in a 4x4 like this are hard but doing all 3 at once is brutal 🤣

I prefer a dry trim, I don’t even pull fans anymore I hang till they feel near the right moisture content then I check with a wood mositure meter, once I’m between 14-16% I cut the plant into branches and put them in bins and burp the bins for about a week, then I trim and jar

Here was Frostette at chop

Gods? No, late teen desperate. I mean I knew some then but it's useful like knowing COBOL in this day and age.
We stole nearly everything from construction sites and the electric wasn't my department- Radio Shack I think. Even then we ordered seeds from High Times and hoped for the best. MANY MALES. If there were feminized seeds I didn't know.
It was into a hill so almost all buried. Weight was all on the blocks and the bedding, underground is ALL bedding never skimp. You can even do without french drains if you bed right but there will be run-off erosion. Inside was just fucking tubs of Damp Rid and slopped on dry lock seal paint and it was always leaky and needed some repair or another. That was my thing and a big part of my job as a highway worker, I love underground construction.
But grow wise? Like those pictures of 1980s high times. It was mid as you can get but this was brick weed era and most of it was for playing hippie Scarface and chasing chicks. Mike took his and sold it on Phish Tour.
How many mistakes and how much dumb shit... we over dried for sure and the burlap curing was meh.

And here’s Frostette today (mother plant) she’s been put into the 30 gallon and seems to have rooted nicely, new growth coming in and I’ll be able to strip off all that ol nasty she’s been hangin into for months now lol, just gotta let her bush out for a month or 2 😆

Oh and make sure a cut of her has taken on the the hydra ofc

Ah here is a mostly normal color pic but like I said she is yellowing as first chromes are teeeeeeensy amber. It's more die off than I had but the other two completely sucked dick and kinda don't count. I'd say this is my first official "ok" grow since 2000 lol. It's sister well... next month lol.

Masha changes two guys in two months🤣 Damn , can I hurry up?))) Some autoflowers are ready to ripen in 60 days.I'm going to look for bottles today, I'm going to make 19 roots, they told me it's possible. I planted another seed. Something is wrong with this world.😅And I need another 10 liters of soil for 0.6 bucks.Total expenses

I will give the dry harvest another try. I will wait till my buds get as large as yours.🤣
I believe i will be forced into it. I have a monster outside...at least 3x5x5. I have it behind lattice so it can't be seen from the street. Frigging monster....with lots of nodes. It is in preflower....come September.....yes I am the only trimmer. I will, I am sure, gonna use some of your techniques. Bottom into bags...lol.
