Popped her in gunna re clone but I’m doing the grafted hydra project and she’s on it already gotta see if she takes though

Hey, everyone.

Just letting you all know that I won't be planting anything new until September.

Taking a break from that.

Need to focus on some other important tasks right now. ☮️

Still popping in here from time to time.

Im baaaaaack.
Central air has been handing me my ass.
So, it goes wacky,
I trouble shoot everything. Looks like the fan is toast.
Replace fan. Same shit keeps happening. Call bosworth, they say hey its your fan, confirming what i figured. They change the fan capacitor that didnt need changing, charge me for it 😡
You should buy a new unit.
I say eat balls. How much?
27k i shit you not. Buy another fan, 200 is better than bosworth charging 900 for another. A whole 15 minutes to install it, who the fuck charges 700 for something so simple….. plus 200 for a fan. assholes.

Ive been theough the coil and wiring upstairs in the unit top to bottom, i bleach the drain line, i clean the coil, i check the fan, hell i even go through the ducting to see if there are obstructions,
Nada. All clear. So one capacitor was replaced, leaving one more. Relay tests fine. This is the unit that came with the house mind you, so its a bit old, but i cleaned it 2 times a year for almost 20 years.. After winter months, then again after summer. So coils are gravy on indoor and out door units. That leaves 2 more possibilities, the remote wiring or ground is shorting out, or its the damned freon. Im pretty sure thats the issue.
Its r22 i have a tank of it from auto repair bs. But im no ace when it comes to closed loop cooling systems outside of a vehicle,
I dont have to weld those shut.
So i have to call ttem out again, and listen to why i should buy a new one again.
Hopefully this time they actually stick around long enough to be able to figure out exactly what the problem is because I already paid them for them for doing that. It’s just been a fucking calamity good thing that my fucking lung room has 8000 BTU unit in it otherwise the bunker will be roasting.

So i took wifey to louisiana the last few days.
We fucking argued the whole time over dumb shit,
I swear man,
Fuck texas summers. Heat makes people crazy.
If this shit doesnt get worked out im installing a mini split in the bunker.

So howdy folks!!!!
official clown business.
Heres some bunker pics
Fan count

1 8000 btu lg window unit in the lung room.

Itll make it until something good happens.
But shit, im kinda over it 😤🫣😂👊🏻🤡

Thank you for sharing your knuckling, scrog, I have the nets but was dealing with the possibility of breaking the branches. After your comment and my research on knuckling I have these four ladies in a 4x, with a 400watt LED, I have one net installed i will deploy another when needed....I will deploy the whole idea my next grow, when the plants are shorter....but this will have to do for now. I still have 4 foot of headroom.
So you need to get in on that cannabis chiropractic shit bud,
So grab a stalk that needs to be moved, find the fulcrum of the stalk you want to bend. Support it with one hand, and slowly work the stalk back and forth while supporting the proposed bend area.
The inner walls of the stalks will start to give, do this methodically and repeatedly, over a couple few days, as they grow into the light, keep walking them towards the outer perimeter of your scrog. Rinse and repeat..,..

By knuckling do you mean bending or do you mean are you supercropping (rolling branch between fingers and actually bending the branch to a 90 degree angle)

No need to supercrop at that point (diddnt hurt anything if you did) all I do is bend the branches under the net and lower it an inch a day till It’s where I want it,, then I like to weave that net with the branches and new growth let em come up 3-4” then tuck under the next string, once you get about 60% coverage on the net, then let it do its thing and once all tops have turned up and have grown about 4-5” vertically above the net, flip to flower, add the 2nd net, about 8” above the tops where they are and let them stretch into it. Mine usually stretch through and above 6-7” the net and they stay there till chop 😁

Hello farm! Latest update... The Seriosa is already showing itself. Started to soak the seeds pretty much exactly 72 hours ago. Orange Bud is also coming. So Serious Seeds is killing it again this run. The Strawberry is slacking and the remaining seeds in the soaker, make me worry a bit. But no time to panic yet. If shit goes wrong, I might order some clones from Sensi Seeds (pretty cool option actually).

For anyone doing long term storage, how often do you burp your jars?

I still have a bunch of jars from last year's harvest and sort of forgot about them. Went to burp them tonight after months and each one popped when I pried off the lid like there was a vacuum inside, sort of like when you first open a canning jar. Smells strong as fuck. Now I'm wondering if I should have just left them alone if they vacuumed sealed themselves. lol

I really need to make hash or something out of this stuff since I'll never smoke it all and my old friends are squares now.
I think after a certain point the weeds fully cured, and as long as they’re in a cool dark place they should be fine. Bunch of people have been getting bubble bags for ice water hash making on this thread lately. If you decide to go that route. But hey congratulations on being in the position of having too much weed to smoke by yourself. These are problems we wish to have.😉

Gotta say though the extra time to fill those nets makes up for the extended veg time in massive hauls, total the 4x8 may have done upwards of 900g was running 800w average on the lights combined in the tent so bit over a 1gpw average, if I wasent dealing with heat I woulda pushed it up to 1200-1300w but that’s the downfall of spring / summer grows with no AC 😂

Mind you this was also living soil, if I pushed these with synthetics I’d probably get 1/8 or more total weight but I’m also still building the soil so we’ll see how it goes when I start adding in the ferments etc this run

My last HVAC bullshit included a new maintenance item where every year I tighten the aluminum wires leaving every single breaker in the box.
Every year the high demand items are barely snug due to expansion of the terminals due to government incompetence allowing that wire to be used for about 20 years.

Sorry to hear that bro! I wish I could send some of our weather your way. We had it sizzling hot until the 4th July weekend. Afterwards it was alot of wind and rain. Inside temps are like spring now, so it's perfect for both growing and chilling. Anyway good look with that vent system! You got this homie! 🤡 🍀🌪️

I only post other random stuff because I thought this was the "anything" thread. If the intent is still grow focused, I misinterpreted. I shall modify.
I think a funny thing happened where you guys knew about, absorbed the theory of, and reapplied this Scrog method in your own way; then I come along and see the mature theory and dig up the basic method by deduction. Bilinear. Humans are interesting.
Tall Cherry Auto is hanging very nicely and has that initial stiffness setting in. Positive pressure is keeping things clean. I don't have any measuring tools but the observable signs are lit green. Goth bitch cherry auto has seemingly discovered it is the queen now and is early to mid flower. So she's all good too.

With a sativa you’re probably going to need another net, it’s good to scrog early with the long legged varieties. The Mexican x Columbian I just ran were taller than I am, topped out at just over six feet.

Also 4 foot of headroom with a scrog is cake

Should easily have 24” at least if you tuck em right, tucking em takes practice, took me a few runs to get it down, I also rerun phenols for 5-6-7 cycles or more so I’m familiar with the stretch, it’s harder from seed than clone but I’ve still done it with excellent results

If needed once you do the 2nd net you can bend them 2-3 squares over to lower em a bit for the first 6-7 days after flip, if needed, one trick is to reduce water per watering, drier medium during stretch will reduce the stretch as well, then you’ll want em to set up nice node stacks so no touchy 😂
