So true. Worms and weather for me in Oregon i fight them every year.looks ok, early harvest and fluffy buds can be expected when doing outdoor grows & I don't see those as negatives. I've grown outdoors for quite awhile & have produced rock buds but that usually is strain specific, don't expect similar results between the two environments it won't happen, I made the decision long ago to deal with whatever nature throws at me & grow it outdoors![]()
Mescaline!? The thing about a good drug collection is once you start building you just kind of see how far you can take it!taking shots of Mescal
No Mescal like tequilla. My eyes crossed while trimming the few colas i did snip today. Ugg not a good feeling LOLMescaline!? The thing about a good drug collection is once you start building you just kind of see how far you can take it!
im right there with you! i took another plant down this afternoon with 5 still out there! hahaha!
Growing in the PNWWell my last 3 are being selectivly chopped. I've spent more time digging out the moth worms than i care to admitI left the house for about 24hrs came back to more damage to most of the largest cola buds. It's been raining off an on for 3days very little sunshine. My 4 cloned plants are now in jars curing so i've got the space to hang these last ones. I'll put it off for tomorrow Friday i'm beat from visiting yesterday and staying up late playing dominos an taking shots of Mescal at my daughter's house. I didn't sleep to good LOL
I can't wait to finish off this season.
Yes it's a real challange but i love it. That's what i'm doing partially harvests on my last 3. Good luck to all PNW growers.Growing in the PNW
Always an adventure, this rain we've got we needed but it could have held off another week or so (in my dreams) We still have 4 in that were partially harvested & 1 that will hopefully finish thinking I am targeting early next week to do final harvest, your plants were pretty loaded up so get your rest in then back to work
You are almost done
Well, we're supposed to get rain on Tuesday, and I've been lopping off fan leaves right and left, so today I took the next step. Didn't want to, trics are not where I wanted them but bud rot and other fungus' are starting to show up. And the orange aphids are everywhere! I think my beneficials flew the coop.
Anyways, hubby insisted on 'helping' and has told me his new do-hickey heat/air pump thingy will dry the plants in the garage and I don't need extra fans. Harumph. Gonna put one in there later.
Took down Humboldt Girl Scout Cookies, Hella Jelly, Gazzurple and 2 Mango Sherbet.
Feet hurt, tired and hubby's still playing with his new toy. (g) (too tired to laugh) Oh, it's that white rectangular wall mounted box in the middle.
That's how i do my small little ones, but my dry rack is alot smaller. You're having a pretty good year by the looks of it. My popcorn is all chopped.
It's great that hubby helps. I hear you on the too tired. Trimming is NOT the fun part.

Airy buds could be not enough sunlight.SW VA harvested a couple weeks early. Will probably lose up to 40- 50% due to rot. My first outdoor grow all bud was airy. Strange as some of the strains were grown inside with dense buds. Anyhow, here's 2 of em.
Does this grow good in So Cal? Does it do good in the heat? Is it a good strain? So Cal winter grow Durban Poison, end of week 13. Look how stunted she is from the cold, still wanting to grow out but sheltering her hairs from the elements not to mention the purple color. Gonna let her go to the end of March for a full 16 weeks. I already know it's not gonna be big and red and hairy like the summer runs but hoping the cooler weather held on to more of that pine taste.
Can also mean it was chopped way early! Pretty tough to tell from a picture from a distance! Close-ups of bud are few and far between this time of year!Airy buds could be not enough sunlight.
California’s climate is a lot like South Africa’s! It should do all right!Does this grow good in So Cal? Does it do good in the heat? Is it a good strain?

Junior caught a deer trapped in the garden because he left the fence open. They just eat the grass under the plants. They do jump the fence into the backyard and eat the apples.Since we're talking about deer... They hang out and we feed them. For some reason the deer in my neighborhood don't eat or bother pot.
