Hi everyone, fairly new to growing, this is my third grow, and first time with pineapple express (apparently), my first 2 were sour diesel (apparently), the first 2 grows with the sour diesel were easy once the plant was established, pretty much look at it and itll grow sort of thing, apart from a bit of suspected root rot later in flower than some h2o2 seemed to fix, atleast enough to get to harvest. All in coco, all indoors.

these pineaple express are another story, a few of the plants are having issues, ph is in check, fertilizer/feeding schedule is the same as the previous grows, just following the fertilizer brand ratios, not sure of exact EC as I dont have a meter, and it didnt seem to matter previously, the plants in question have been sickly since sometime in veg, now done 3 weeks of flower.

I have tried straight water with about 1% h202, then straight water for a couple of days before part fertilizer mix for a few days, then back to full mix, done this a couple of times, but has not helped. Temps are about 23c and humidity is set to about 60 something percent, not near the tent to cant look right now.

I figure its too late for any decent yield, but hoping I can somewhat recover these to learn for the next ones, which are clones off the best looking plant, if all else fails, back to sour diesel, although they have a long flower time haha, any advice would be greatly appreciated, and hopefully an easy fix.

Ok confirm this for me.
You are in coco but flying without EC information for in and out use trend in your coco grow.
Is this correct?

Yes, I know its not ideal, but I was on a budget, and the first grows went really well, although different strains, different requirements, I got the ph meter when I had one plant in dwc and just refused to grow, but ph was on point, again, budget constraints, maybe I should tell someone to get me one for my birthday haha.

Tough to say without more information, but it looks like acute over-feeding (tip burn everywhere, running down the edges of the leaves, severe clawing) and over-lighting (edge curl, taco-ing, inter-veinal yellowing.)

See if reducing nutrients by 20% helps? And lift lights? Lights are paired together, so cant reduce intensity of one without the other. At least if it is just over loving, can fix that for next round

Depending on how you run your coco it is either very important or critical to be able to measure the EC in a coco/hydro grow.
The movement of nutrients through the plant in coco is based on the load in the feed. Unlike soil which stores nutrients everything the plant eats or in this case does not eat is in the feed. You had a grow where you sneaked up on the nutrient amount and did not go out of specs for that strain. Unfortunately now you are sideways and this information would be critical for fixing it.
Anyways here is the only ideas I have. If you write down everything can you find a spec for nutrient earlier in the grow that worked. Feed at that rate for a while.
Go back to 50% of the recommended feed rate for a while.
Would not recommend amending the grow for individual nutrient deficiency or tox as this looks broad based.

And of course get an EC pen and learn what a falling EC and a rising EC means.

Gluck.

Howdy Greengrower! I'm a soil grower so I won't be able to get into the nuances of coco with ya, but I can tell an overfed plant when I see it. Two particular things I'd ask you to check, one is get an EC pen and check the strength of your feedings. The other is maybe go back and read the labels on what you are feeding to make sure you've got a good NPK ratio for an early flowering cannabis plant, because the hard clawing suggests the presence of too much nitrogen or bad root oxygen and since we know we already have a feeding issue it's probably that.

I don't know what ppfd you have hitting your tops but even if it's not excessive, you might want to dial it down some while you are doing your fixes to help with the recovery.

Wishing you a positive outcome for your plant!

One more thing ( Columbo reference ). Was the coco rinsed only, pre charged, soaked with cal-mag or have you been adding cal- mag to the coco? Just another thing to worry about in coco. Do not think it is the issue but I have read journals where pre charged coco was amended with cal-mag in the feed the whole grow and they had issues later in the grow. Like all of them.

Thanks everyone for the help, ill reduce the nutrient strength and see how they go, and hopefully the next round is better across all plants. Good thing is that the best one is the one I pulled the clones off.
