I am used to growing in super soil. I been watching the slurry thing and another thread with this ocean forest and happy frog and someone mentioned you needed to flush for salts. I hadn’t added any fertilizer but figured okay. You really shouldn’t be flushing new fox farm soils. It’s amended to allow growers to use water only at first, eventually the plants will require more nutrients than what is available in the soil, at which point they suggest their liquid nutrients. After a grow cycle is nearing completion then there’s a reason to flush excess salts, but not during the early growing cycle, unless you accidentally over feed.

Yeah it'll throw you for a loop getting salt climb without putting any nutes in, but it gives you some insight that there is a living biome going on, and with some strategy, you can lean more into it to feed your plants better.

It’s pretty easy to save on freight fees when you’re using build a soil, to build a soil. Get your peat moss, pumice/perlite and earthworm castings locally and just add amendments. If you’re growing in pots larger than seven gallons you might be able to do water only through harvest. Smaller pots, less than seven gallons, end up being depleted by early flowering periods or sooner. They’ll require a few top dressing’s .

Ahh definitely, I thought you ran water through containers continuously. Now I understand why flushing is mentioned. So when using salt based nutrients it’s best to practice water to runoff feeding. That ensures fully saturated medium and keeps salt deposits from happening in the pots.
Water to runoff is a good practice if your soil doesn’t hold water too long. As long as pots aren’t sitting in standing water. That can cause big problems.

GDP x BBHP. She's just dry enough to roll one up and I can really taste the Hash Plant. Was hoping for the grape and berries but damn, this is nice No fruit but a strong chem/pharmaceutical taste that's sucking me in and making me hope it never changes

I'm guessing I got about 3oz

Really happy with this one. Never even thought the cross would throw back like this but okay. And after several hits

I am toasted I will be working this one in 2026.

GDP x Mother's Milk is special. Ended up with 2 girls and 4 boys, 3 of which

didn't make the grade. 4' plants in solos cups So now I have to decide whether to make reg seeds or reverse one of the girls and make fem seeds OR maybe make 1 or 2 stems pollen makers and allow it to pollinate itself and still make reg seeds Modern day problems...

Happy birthday man. Stay stoney. And just save the pollen any which way you go. You can mix it with flour to get a little bit more so you don't waste any. It only takes one pollen per pistil or calyx to create a seed. It will stretch out way further, and same if you do an sts method for feminized seeds or colloidal silver, either way, you can cut the pollen like your cutting some powdery substances , anyway glad you had your bday crossed plant ready for your bday joint session. Hey Homies, what’s cracking? I figured I’d drop a couple of photos and a quick video. I’m gonna try to dig my way back to these deep water buckets and get a closer look on the bigger plants but here’s a little more of what I got cracking in here, but yeah man peep the scrog. It’s pretty cool. It’s a couple of 16 ounce potted plants that are strapped sideways to a 2 x 2 grate I suspended it. I’m flipping tonight so they should fill that thing out pretty good by the time everything starts hitting its flower stride in here. Restored a couple tools today still have to wrap the handle on Otis sr. Otis jr is gravy though they turned out aaaight. Even my vices have vices. Hope everybody’s doing good.

Last year my Tropical Tangie was rather bad. Smoked great but the harvest was like a bad joke.

Last run the TT was the prettiest girl even.

Smokes great too. Altough it somehow reminds me of Power Plant. I wanted to ask the folks @ Dutch Passion if they included PP to the Tangie (lol). Foxtailing was probably due to the humidity spikes during flower.
