I mean it really kind of depends, but there’s a lot of variables that you have to take into consideration you know, because for the most part, yeah the whole mixing ashes into your medium and getting benefits that way, but at the end of the day, you don’t really know exactly how it is that they make the coal right some people will just use a big ass blast furnace other folks will use a heating tube but the medium in which they use to heat whatever everything it is they’re using to make it is a byproduct that you can’t be too sure of unless you do a pH test find out what the parts per million are and then hope that it’s got zero salinity but as long as the pH isn’t too far out of whack theoretically you could, you’ve also got taken into consideration the size of the chunks of the coal you may have to process it down a little bit in order to get it to be a little bit smaller and size instead of it being just a space destroyer you wanted to aerate as well and not just take up a bunch of room in your pot you know what I’m saying I’d be leery of it but it’s definitely something I would try now that I think about it I would just try to get the chunks of it down to the size of perlite

I know you can colonize it but yea furnace could be full of heavy metals and shit

Yeah man, this is one of the main reasons why I’ll break down my entire area every couple of grows and I’ll go through all the fans. Blast them all out with the air compressor wipe them down with some doc z check all the wires and make sure there’s nothing melting and any connection points on all of my gear really

If you are like me you are swimming and sleeping too close to waaaay to much equipment.

My neighbor had a Cypress bush growing over the wall and over my supplemental shed. I loved that it kept the shed cool but when I threw a light in that shed my ass was puckering over some electrical short happening in there, catching that bush on fire and burning both our houses down. I cleared that shit away and threw some 2 inch insulating board over the roof as an alternative way to keep it cool.

Thats been my new finishing regimen in soil the last few cycles, kelp and molasses unless and only unless EC falls too low. Letting the microbes put the final touches on it and I swear, much better aroma and taste.

Any of you guys making body creams? What do you use and do you decarb?

I use both decarbed and plain 'ol THCA & CBDA. Usually about 20% but of course some of it will be decarbed by the heat extraction. I've read a lot of good things about both with the acid molecule attached. But with that said I believe it is the THC that helps most with pain and itch on the skin surface with both penetrating into skin and tissue to heal and aid muscle pain/damage. This plant, both THC & CBD strains and others are medicine and without it we'd be forced to take the opioids, which are poison.

For best results use a pure C8 MCT. Personally I use blended just because I'm a cheap ass, still works won't solidify on you if the house is cool. Sports Now or something. That's for topical. For edibles I use the Kirkland Signature stuff, again because I'm a cheap bastard but it's good quality, its not refined you smell and taste the coconut and I actually like that. You can get empty roll on bottles super cheap on Amazon. I usually make it and give it away. I don't really use the topicals except as personal lubricant and I can't believe I'm admitting that on a public forum

Follow instructions for a standard coconut oil infusion... decarb with 240 degrees of heat for 30 minutes, then add the decarbed weed to oil and set in a "bath" for 3 hours with temperature kept tight between 180-200 degrees. Strain out any pulp. The oil doesn't soften it and it'll feel scratchy in your skin. Fill your roll on with the filtered oil. Save the pulp for brownies or something, there's good shit in it!
