Nice!! I like the simple, yet effective setup. I cant wait to see how they turn out. What are your high temps inside the room?

Thanks

Im Digging the way your training those ladies ... Niccee

Thanks man, I slap hoes that get outta' line:pimp:! No but seriously if I didn't train them they would get way too tall, and I'm getting better light coverage to the mid, and top nodes.

Thanks blunt, very simple and low costing. Its just a small scale hydro grow... I'm still hand watering twice a day, no water pumps although I might add a reservoir and drip lines and all that. And I might still upgrade the wattage on my lighting.:talking

And my ventilation is basically a couple fans... not cool, but I have an intake and exhaust but I need to wire them up still not sure how tho....:mad0229:

but my temps are good. No higher than 80 F day:sun and no lower than 70 F night.

Watering, Pistils, and Vents, oh my!

The first pics are of the girls getting a nice drink of bubbled water first thing in the morning. Gave em' each 20 fl oz, my nute mix is still GH-3pk flora ml/gal M-9 B-11 G-17 It's a tweaked Mel Frank mix for pre-flowering to flowering.http://www.angelfire.com/cantina/fourtwenty/articles/profiles.htm

I only popped 3 beans on this run and 2 are female 1 male. Thats 100% germ rate and ~67% female/male rate! :surprised

I took some close ups on some newly formed pistils.:sign0005:

Then I have pics of my unfinished vent system. The problem is I don't know how to wire it. :help: My hope is that some electrician reads this and could maybe point me in the right direction.

Thanks man, I actually have those exact instructions but I just don't now how to wire em'... like at all... :shake

I know I need a 110/120 Volt AC, 60 Hz fuse... whatever that means. I guess I'm just not as handy as I thought... I've never wired anything ever.:worried

Looking good Bro
Nice green healthy color

You cant just wire a plug on to it. I think u you can just cut an extension cord and wire it up positive and negative and ground. Make sure its a 3 prong plug. That's it.

Should be unless I am missing something. Its just normal 120v thats just normal home use. You dont need a fuse or anything. Just wire it up means to connect something to plug it into. Most extension cords will have a side of the two wires that is some how different, like either raised edge or marked line down the side. Normally what ever is marked as different will be the negative side of the cord.

Pics, Still no proper ventilation yet...

OK so I've been giving the girls a little trim each day:party0044:... Just the popcorn nodes and early fan leaves.

They just finished their 1st week of 12/12.:sun

I'm feeding them GH-3 pk flora gal/ml M-10 B-14 G-14 give or take a ml :)

PH is a steady 5.5 :nod

I'm thinking about adding some hydroplex during wk. 3, but not sure yet...:wondering

It's a little dry and hot in my growing space which is bummin' me out, do in part to my lack of vent. which i've been putting off for weeks :speechless

Ummmm...:thinking that's about it... I'll let the pics (from about an hour ago) do the rest of the talking.

This is what I would do.
Into the two blade sockets in the wall stick the white and black wires. The fan should run(note speed). Replacing the black wire with the yellow should change the fan speed.
There are issues of polarity that do not impact anything that I know of other than failing inspection. Just keep the inspectors away and you are good to go. Do a little education on "single phase house power" should clarify things. This knowledge is most important when dealing with load levels and balancing.
I too am a simplicity grower. (and very new to the effort) Not as limited as you for space, but power usage is a big issue for me. I am currently drawing 600 watts 12/12 which goes down to only 150 watts 24/7. The economy, both effort and energy, is the sweet spot I am looking for.

damn bro those plants are looking hella good. I saw that you asked about foliar sprays...Organicare SeaPlex and CalPlex would be a good foliar. Idk how long into flowering you would want to use these products though. lol, for future reference I guess. I'll be watching bro. Check my journal out Im doing a closet setup too.

Thanks 4 your knowledge Dunge:hi:! I'm gonna do I wee bit of research and get my vents wired and running by the end of this week 4 sure!!! I know I've been saying that 4 a month now but I'm serious dammit:sign0055:!

I haven't hit my "sweet spot" yet in terms of effort/energy/money but as soon as some more funds hit, I'm def. upgrading my whole setup to grow some even denser, tastier fruit!!!

Same here, Im not far behind you RSGD9! I read that cutting leaves can stress the plant out and cause it to hermph! I know removing fan leaves isnt good, seen that done too many times!
