All I can add it to go with something designed for coco. This is due to the specific requirements of coco. Beyond that....ask 5 guys what they like and you will get 5 different answers.

If you want to keep it simple, run just Maxibloom at 1tsp per gallon and nothing else.. Amazing results.

Even more amazing results when you actually supply the plants with FULL nutrition.

I have ran

H&G
Canna
Dutch Master
FloaDuo
Sensi A&B
Age Old

Along with dozens of additives/boosters throughout the years and now the only thing I will run is just straight Maxibloom($15 for 2.2LBS) and MAYBE a little Big Bud near the end.

You probably should not post unless you know what you are talking about.. I have been in the game for over 10 years now, but you obviously know more than I...

I havent try H&G or Canna but i have dealt with people that use or have used them all and are shop owners, so they run what they feel is haven the best results and they dont try to sell me anything i dont want or need, where friends and hes had and have great results with connoisseur he runs in coco, so do i, i noticed a difference right away and my plants are loven it, i mean loven it.

im not sayn them other brands aren't good cause im sure they are, but from people that have run all of them they like the AN stuff alot but LOVE the a&b connoisseur so do i, my friend runs coco he just switched and he'll never go back.

so insted of be'n bi-est im postn this haven seen results, and these where already real nice plants.
also you use ml's less too.

Run canna, floranova, and pureblend the most, as well as others. All worked well. Since running 100% RO had to supplement with calmag. Used 101 different additives. I just ended up making my own. Took what they use in the greenhouse, tailored it to give the plants what they like. Cheap (1/10th the cost of floranova). No longer buy the hype of additives and seen way to many great growers grow with nothing but base nutrients.

I had lots of problems with canna but they were self inflicted, some people have brilliant results with it. They definitely need calmag supplement with ro water. I wrote to canna in Dec and they didn't get back to me till Feb. Their email recommended a starting water ec of 0.4 . To cut a long story short I had already moved to plant magic nutes as they made specifically for UK hard and soft water - I just use my tap water (hard) now and haven't looked back and no longer have problems - that's no reflection on canna, just what was easier for me .

Best of luck, Minster

I have been using general hydroponics micro/bloom in 6/9 ratio with 1/2 ro 1/2 (hard) tap and have beautiful growth with no deficiencies.

Originally I was having some cal/mag issues because of my hard tap water but after adding the ro everything looks great.

i ran this in flower for a year and had good results. i'm now only moving to more expensive nutrients because i switched to coco, and hoped of getting a larger yield. i'm now using h&g and like the results, but wouldn't be surprised if maxibloom did as well at a fraction of the price.

some dude did a run with maxibloom, an, and canna, and the maxibloom yielded the best, according to him. here is a link to the journal.

i look at nutes the way i do at other consumer products, say cleaning products. you can pay 5 bucks for a spray bottle of 409, or you can dilute chlorine bleach with water for 50 cents. the people at 409 probably have dozens of reasons why their product is better, but a disinfectant is a disinfectant, just like npk is npk.

I use Biocanna and have the best looking tastiest plants I have ever grown. The bioboost supplement that is intended to accompany it is essential.
