lol thx shady broski - it dont look bad but man it looks small - as huge as the main stems it seems I should have much bigger buds - last run with the wifi I had 3x the plants and colas so big and fat that the bent over the yoyos I was using to hold them up - fat as grenades

nothing in this room is even close to that - very fucking disappointing

damn ML u had me worried. like shady said doesnt look too bad to me, especially considering its ur first run in a uc.

id have probly killed everything before week 2

I honestly dont think there will be another UC run for me - many factors to consider but mainly this thing doesnt really suit my style of grow, limits my plant numbers which limits the variety I can grow and is just not as advertised re: ease of use and trouble free - too much shit to worry about IMO

another deciding factor is I haven't spent the cash on a chiller yet and I dont really have the amps available to run one

so Im gonna sell the system and throw in the RO unit too if anybody is interested

Motherload in your opinion is the undercurrent capable of producing the same quality as an organic soil grow. I've had some beautiful plants in hydro I'm just not able to get the sticky toughness out of it. My buds were big dense and sticky just not the same. I guess toughness. Not tryin to start shit just want your opinion.

howzit partner, funny you mention the chiller, I measured the air temps being pumped out by the alita 40, its between 92-94 degrees in a room with ambient air temps of 65 degrees

lol well you dont have to worry about starting shit since UCMENOW is gone

if you really like that organic flavor you may be disappointed since pure organics in the UC is less then ideal

I have to say though since the UC is so efficient in using nutes you really have to use a lot less - these gals dont like anything over 750 ppm - though maybe if I wasnt having issues with VPD (low humidity) I could push them a bit harder

I really think that not pushing your chems too hard is key to getting the frost and flavor

I have my air pump sitting over one of my passive vents so it sucks cold air in - Im having no problems with water temps but warm temps are just around the corner

Thanks motherload. I gave up on organic hydro yrs ago. Ran the aeroflo 60s for yrs never had a problem when I stuck to no organics at all. If I ran an undercurrent I wouldn't even think of letting anything organic in there. I'd just hit it with the Lucas and some zone. Actually been kicking around the undercurrent room idea for awhile might give it a run soon. Just for kicks.700-900 ppm in an aeroflo was max for me. I think I read somewhere on the G.H. website that plants will actually use nutes more efficiently with intense light. Thus requiring lower ec..

dude if your gonna go UC I strongly recommend you try the pure blend pro - I think you would get closer to what your looking for then with the Lucas

I switched to GH (from DM) because I had plenty of it and no money to go out and buy pure blend pro

I'm pretty sure I ran some samples years ago but I can't remember shit. I think I was one of those people you were given munchies to back in the late eighties.

I just won a tri-pack from my shop and that was in it...I decided to use it for my soil grows...I was told it wasnt for use in the hydro, just soil/coco mediums.
Is there another version made for hydro? Or is this the same juice and it CAN be used, because if so , what the hell I could try another experiment soon with Pure Blend!!!

PBP is a stable mix of organically derived nutes and chems

hell if its stable in a UC it should rock any type of hydro
