Finally the rooms are up and running. Each room has 6 sites with 50in centers wide and 56in in length. Every plant has an adjust a wing above and verticals all around except the corners, making for a total of 14k in each room. The rooms lighting is controlled by a flip flop box. During veg there will be 6 verts running with 2 more to follow entering flower. I'm planning on hitting on the overheads in week 3-4 of flower. Bumping up the lighting in each room has been the mind game I've been playing with over and over. I'm open to discussion on lighting ideas or thoughts.

The girls drink of choice is Cultured Solutions, UC Roots and 1ml of Cal Mag @ 220ppm ph swingin between 5.6-6.2 and water temps are 65. Rh sits between 55-65%.

The girls took a little hit while I was away for a week but I couldn't wait any longer in getting these rooms alive and running again. I have fresh cuttings ready to take the place of these girls if they don't pull out of it in a week or so. If I replace with clones, these girls will go into coco. I really wanted to get some pics up and a thread started so I can hear thoughts, ideas or opinions as I tidy things up. Please exuse the mess and pics, I will get better shots up as things get going. I just wanted to get something started.. I hope you all help out and take this ride with me..

Your last harvest was back in April doggy and you come back with those? C'mon, I had a lot of respect for ya after getting 1.75gpw. Vacation is over, back to work!

Your tellin me... I should be pulling another round right now but had to take them down 3 weeks into flower because of ac failure causing heat issues. After a lot of set backs delaying this run I'm just happy to have the Uc's going again. I really just wanted to get the thread going and hear some of the farmers thoughts and ideas. I was starting to feel like a stalker in the UC forum. I promise a better show now that we are going, I just wanted a start.
Thanks for the respect given for my last run but the numbers were not gpw. There was 1.75# per light pulled last run. Off of 12 lights per room and the room being 12by13 I was happy with the yeild per sq. ft I was playing in.

40+ Ps is pretty insane, you got enough scrilla to handle a crop mishap and keep going.

Hopefully this run is in the 50+ P range to make up for the down time.

Rock and roll!

Yeah man, being able to cover mishaps is important.. We will see on weight. We had a man drop out so we dropped 3 plants a room to stay within plant limits. Taking out the center row gave each girl more space between them and let us put a wing above them. Thanks for the positive vibes...

nice work as usual. love the dedication. nice PVC job too. try vegging one room with the verts and the other with the wings and then turn on all 14k at flip. hit em hard.

Thanks man, I really enjoy what I do. I like your idea. I was just thinking today to switch to horizontal for veg. I think I'll split the difference like you suggested. Hitting with the 14 in the beginning is a thought..
I have just two verts above now trying to get them to pull out of this funk. The roots are looking great so the cages got put around buckets. Thanks for checking things out..

To my mind week 3-4 is a bit late. I'd probably turn them on at week 1.5 at the latest.

That said, it's been my practice to reduce lighting near the end of flower rather than begin it with reduced lighting. This more properly mimicks the natural system to my mind.

Because I haven't been doing this for 10 years, I try to keep things as natural as I can on the indoors. I find that doing this allows a better "control" state for me to judge efficacy of various additives, techniques, etc. from. So that is my guiding principle. Sounds to me like you're looking to murder it in any case--and I don't doubt you will.

Just my $0.02

Thanks a lot for that insight and opinions. That does make since to me, since starting this thread and Deacons post encouraging all the lights from start of flower I've been looking at things in a New light, I also think higher light from the start of flower or a week in is a good idea. I haven't thought about reducing light into flower. Thanks for giving me that to think about.. How much of a reduction have you done and what lights would you kill off? The outside verts maybe? Thanks again for your input, please stick around I'd love your insight along the way..

keep those pics coming...

I'll have more after this weekend, girls seem to pull out of it well, the roots are crazy, but the clones are beauties. I'll hit on all veg lights this weekend and see after the week if ill keep these going or switch out to the fresh clones.. UC ROOTS is amazing stuff...

Ideally you'd mimic a light pattern which starts off at a near horizontal angle, arcs over, and ends on an opposite horizontal angle--just like the sun.
