autoflowering strains

Some good reading here.In the past i never gave auto's a second glance but i've got plans for the Auto Affie clone. The quick finishing time and potentcy has me very interested so i'll be seeing what i can do with it this summer.

Gets pretty frosty and smells great. My yields were crap but I am growing them in 2 liter hempy buckets. I grew out 2 seeds, got 2 fems, one tall and lanky with medium frosting, the other short and fat with lots of triches. 1st 2 are the taller pheno, last 2 the shorter one. They both smell like musky fruit, the shorter one has a stronger smell. The larger one is hang drying and the smaller one will be taken tomorrow or whenever the medium dries out.

What light cycle did you have these on?I ran a few autos in my room with the big plants i've got going now and they are not gonna fill in and i think its because they have been in the room on 12-12 instead of more light for the autos.Yours look pretty good bro.

I've got about 100 Gorrilla gold #3's and i think they are gonna be a good strain because they are not str8 autoflowering and they allow the plant to veg for a bit before starting to flower.

Oh man, they were on crazy cycles. Mostly 18/6 but 12/12 sometimes and 24/7 sometimes. I put them where ever there was room really. I didn't do a top notch job and i'm still very pleased with the outcome. I'd like to do a whole auto grow and see what these can really do.

whats the strenth like ? 7/10 ish ? i tryed some auto ak47 last yr and was shocked .

I'm shocked about the potency my self. I give the taller pheno 7/10 but the shorter pheno is 8.5/10...very couchlocky and narcotic.

i planted 4 Lowlife ak-47's and so far 3 are flowering after being in my veg cab for about 50 days now @ 20/4 (as per recommended..) and i just put the three in my flower room (12/12), since i had a lil space.. :cool0010:

Im doing some seed making with autos this year. I have some seeds coming from a ood friend which he has been breeding for a while now. Its a cross between 2 very well known strains for there hash :D Il make a diary soon so you can follow if you like :]

I have a question about af .. I was woundering if the plant "auto flowers" , do you have to change the light cycle ? Ive been growing for 5 years now , and i fully understand the 12/12 light cycle , but with the auto flowers , could a person leave the lights on 24 hours and the buds fully flower? would this make the buds bigger ? better ?

Yes, you can grow autoflowers under 24 hourlighting. Idk if it will increase yield or not though. I've always read the best light cycle for them was 18/6.

thanks , about generally how long do you have to veg and clone before a mother starts to bud ? or would it be better to grow from seed ?

From my understanding you can't clone a true autoflower but maybe someone with a lil more experience can chime in.

yeah that was great thanks .... im just trying to figure out what type im going to grow this summer ... im looking for something that should be completly finished by middel to end of sept, and is a heavy yeilder ... any thoughts ?
