Why is that and which option would you go with for my room dimensions. Im thinking I have plenty of cooling.

I've seen a few gardens blowing it up with the Gavitas. Love the quality and light out put with less heat. They're by no means LED or even plasma cool but they are definitely cooler then HIDs.

Your talking the gavita 600s with attached ballast? I believe retail is 429$ Ive considered this. Im placing the order really soon and doing some research now. Any other feedback from the rooms youve seen?

I've only seen the 1000s in action. But splitting hairs really. Of course you can find them well below retail, and when you factor that it's a bulb, ballast, and reflector for this cost it ain't so bad. The other consideration and the reason I'm not running them yet (aside from $$) is they only run on 240 power. Not sure if that is an issue for you.

What up outwest. Good luck on the build. I would go with mine split cause they are the most efficient. better than Excell. I have the mr slim and love it . 21 seer inverter. If you need info on them pm me. I know a good install guy who has done alot for people on the farm and he can also get you a good price too.

I got one of those cap co2 via a tip from green thumb danny. I replaced my other one after getting this one.

Peace

My thoughts are 8 medium aaw, 30,000 btu fujitsu mini split, 6 3x3 trays. Should be fun. Thanks for all the replies.

The room height is I believe peak 8 ft. but has a side wall and height of 7' maybe, Its exactly like the shed in one of my threads but a little taller and longer. 8x14.

I called excel air this morning and had a chat wow they are an excellent company and my thoughts exactly just a little out of the budget. For the future I would love to have their product in my room. So thanks for that info amber.

Im also looking into the co2 options. what would you suggest?
I personally have solatel burners there big and green and hurt when you hit your head on them but I have not really ever had a the desire to try anything different. Plugs into my sentinal brain. It keeps everything where I want it. It puts off some heat but as long as you consider that fact in the ac choice your golden. Your space is a bit smaller than mine seems like a larger space is easier to cool sometimes. If I had your size space I might look into the something a bit smaller. As far as the ac you can easily run short of your expected need and since its not going to hurt to have it a bit bigger than needed I would over estimated the ac need and then you have options if the burner is not adequate. One thing you have not mentioned that puts a lot of heat off and should be considered in my opinion is a good dehumidifier.

All great points thanks so much for your input its greatly appreciated. I really want this room to be trouble free and low maintenance. Its for the pops and hes slow to convert many ideas/things, I guess seeing is believing for him. I cant wait to get my setup in motion. Its going to be hardcore and buildout anytime honestly just waiting to close in on a fucking house in this weird sudden buyers market.

Were thinking aaw or now the gavitas 600w for that and cooling via fujitsu mini split it is over 2 ton and getting a deal for contractor. The space is the space and I wish it could be bigger honestly but oh well its going to be jam packed with lighting.

Thinking of going tank route but still indecisive atm. I like the idea so we shall see.

YOur totally right I have one going and its making the room rise some from all the dam socal rain but cant complain shits green and luscious out.

Im keen on any and all input other have and appreciate the feedback

Exactly! haha he listens to all sorts of shit but doesnt care for them to much. While I keep it to just the simple trifecta bisco, dead and phish. Im usually a phish in the room guy that app is amazing. The avatar is simply laziness and lack of creativity. I should change that its not what Im really about although Ive hit tour hard in my short existence.

Ha. To put bisco in that trifecta . . . No comment.

I'm not that old, but I was 'on tour' before you were old enough to borrow the car from your parents! My touring days are OVER. I'm OLD! I LOVE tour.

well was gonna comment but looks like you pretty much got everything handled. on a side note, DO NOT use sentinel controllers, you can if you want they work just fine but look around first before settling on setinel there are better controllers out there that will monitors more stuff and can be hooked up to wireless and are only slightly more expensive, i don't know what your goin for but just look first and you'll find somthin better. anyways take it easy

I run sentinels only because my mentor got me hooked on them, I would like that wireless feature. Obviously I could do the research but which do you use?

Whats up buddy. Hope things are well. If you could shed some light on this controller issue I never mind another option. Thanks.

I use the harvest-master climate-pro plus, with optional text-me-now modem, you can hook everything into the unit so you have ultimate controll, for instance, if you want to run supplemental lighting durin flower you can turn it on or off, etc etc I use to turn on supplemental uv light and mh a little past mid way flower. the options are limitless for however you wanna configure your shit, and it comes with the standard flood, co2,humidity, temp. and has 3 relays if you want soma your gear to run offa different circuits or breakers. It's more expensive then the low end sentinels but it's worth it. plus it sends info to your smartphone, and if you got a few cameras in your op linked up the same way then your straight ballin it up haha. Take it easy
