First day of week 7. First run with pure organics. Think I did pretty well, but the weight of my nugs, and overall yield, is looking on the light side.
Anyways how many more weeks would you say I ave?
Sorry to go Mia, but I was waiting for my 3 way meter, for moisture, ph, and light. Kicks ass btw. Anyway it shows my plants as being between 6 and 7, which is where I wanna be. I dumped half a cup of oyster shell as a top dress in my super soil mix about a week ago, watered it in thoroughly...
This is my new veg tent as I'm making the full transition into organics from bottled nutes. The base mix for my soil is 40% lava rock, 20% spaghnum peat moss, 20% e.w.c, 10% top soil, and 10% charged bio char. Kelp meal, alfalfa, gypsum, mineral mix at 4 1/2 cups per cubic foot, crustacean meal...
Right on. I'm kinda starting over with genetics, so I bought a few packs from my favorite breeders and I plan on doing a hunt for some Momma's to keep around. But I hear ya, I would like to eventually make my own seeds, i have a few males right now that I need to cull, I could possibly throw...
Lol good genetics ain't cheap imo, lol. The ones I just bought are the ssdd, from bodhi, and pineapple fields, from dynasty. It ran me about 2 and a1/2 Bill's, but I got an assload of freebies including the honey badger haze which I'm looking forward to. But the inhouse, relentless, and mass...
Just got an order from choice seedbank. Requested o.b.p and got my dynasty genetics in a plastic baggie. Is this legit?
The new seeds are the ssdd from bodhi, pineapple fields from dynasty, hbh from dynasty, and all the individual femmies
So this veg tea I currently have brewing has dandelions raw spinach leaves, brocolli, ewc, biodynamic compost, molasses and comfrey as a veg tea. When I use my tds meter it gives me readings ranging from 560-680. Why am I getting suck a wierd reading. Is it because it needs to brew longer,
it's a good source of potassium, micro nutrients and vitamin as well. I've seen people use it with good results, and I'm for anything that I can harvest from the back yard.
Cool. As long as I'm on the right track, I'm going to branch from there. I use to use the advanced nutes line, but I've since sworn off a.n and I'm starting to realize I can brew better stuff at home given the right knowledge. I'm fermenting a large container of aloe right now. I'm...
I'm experimenting with tea recipies and I'm looking to brew a tea that's going to take me all the way though veg and flower. I'm just transitioning to super soils that I built, but I have some plants in ewc, sphagnum peat moss, topsoil, and lava rock, with no amendments added to the soil, Just...
I've heard many things about flushing being unnecessary. I've always flushed letting the medium dry out, then hitting it with water. I let this happen twice, in the week before harvest. I done this many a times, but recently, I gave a plant "overdrive" up until the day of harvest, and after a...
Lol, right on. That's what I'm leaning towards. I have always fed less and less as I gets closer to harvest and I always give my plants balanced water in between feedings throughout the grow. As of now, the only thing they're getting is the overdrive from advanced nutes.
