I had some trim and time in a cold room.

Laid out about an ounce of trim on a large metal tray and flipped it like a pancake several times. Tipped it to one side at about a 45 degree angle and gently brushed out the leaf. Then I tipped it to the other side at a slightly higher angle and tapped my fingers on the back side of the tray. Anything that was heavy enough to stay put on the tray was first grade, anything that fell to the side was b grade.

It was not a complete extraction by any means, but it is pure and free and both grades bubble furiously when smoked.

The b grade seemed like there was just enough resin to conglomerate, which I think the minimum is 60% unbroken trichomes.

The a grade is as good as any dry sieve or bubble I have made in the past. I really feel like this is my new favorite method. The smoke is tasty, simple to make, and fast. Took me just a few mins to separate the glands into two grades and then a few more to roll out the balls. Only got a couple grams, but two thirds of it was the top grade.

I dont know of any other method wet or dry for hash making where you get the most of the best.

I'll post some pics a little later.

Do you think this is anything like what Skunkman Sam does to get his 100% trichome heads dry sift?

would love to see pictures as i need to step up this part of my game and start making some shatter also ... thou i don't wanna burn the house down .....

A couple of grams from an ounce of trim seems good though for a solid yield without forking over the cash for solvents or screens. Good on you!

When I have some free time I will post some pics of the smoking and bubling. Just really glad I found my camrea, i can start documenting all the REALLY fun stuff, like making hash.

Those little marbles look top notch. Nice method bro, feels like it's getting back to the roots of making hash.

Next I will post my screenless water hash method. Which isnt really mine, but sort of...

Its sadu sam's secret, only I dont grind anything up or use moldy stash. I just fill a 5 gal half with water almost all the way to the top with ice then slosh a few primo cola buds really quick fresh after harvest. The bud gets used in butter making, and the fattest whole trichomes and a little dirt fall to the bottom of the bucket to be enjoyed later on that day.
