to be able to select seed from naturally occuring strains growing in the wild is like a utopian idea for me and a lot of other growers.... i hope u are able to take advantage of your location & share with us....

You know, there are some heavy African Sativas that most folks can't handle, they're that heady. Suggesting to me that their cannabinoid profile is fairly respectable. I wouldn't be surprised if your local strains are every bit as hard-hitting as what many folks out here grow, if not moreso.

Welcome to the farm! Nice introduction. :)
Thank you very much, I'm having a great time here;-) I started smoking at university in Pretoria in 2002, when the original landrace Swazi (we called "Rooibaard", which is Afrikaans for "Red Beard") was still the smoke of the day... poorly cured, mouldy as hell, seeds galore, but that was our sweet freedom;-) Following the Pharmaceutical herbicide raids on the Swazi mountains, the strain was lost.. All sorts of hybrid seeds were then imported, as thousands of people's lives were at stake.. I always remember being super high from the original Rooibaard...

Later I had Durban Poison which blew me away completely... but when, many years later, sinsemilla hybrid products became available, that I realised how much of a variety of body effects are to be experienced, difference between Indicas and Sativas...

My first genetics I had gotten from a real mafia type grower, (dog and chicken farmer to the underground fighting world, guy called Allan, terrible) which gave me one clone of original landrace Afgan, pure pure Indica. The genetics are so old, that a variegated effect of lighter green starts to show if you look at some of the cuttings of those early picture days above... Extremely robust plant, easily disguised and very pretty, fat leaves..

It was not after I had felt the effects of the likes of the Hawaiian sativas, that I realised how much energy and mind power these cannabinoids had to offer, with an abundance of the THC involved;-) What a life! The next time, I wish to be born inside a field of weed in Morocco;-)

Thank you! I had always been very passionate about it! As you will see in the photos from tester day, as well as the ones I have taken a minute ago, I am doing just that with seeds from the weed I bought locally here in tropical Africa... Depending on when I'll get my permanent accommodation sorted as well as get all the grow equipment procured, transported and (with luck) successfully cleared, these little monsters will likely have to spend their lives on my training route;-) The smoke is amazing!! It wakes you up from any level fatigue. I can't wait to see these badboys grow... As you'll see in the background.. hahaha ... I'm keeping my Pepsi bottles, to modify for in which to transplant them on Monday.. I have not got a clue what I'm going to use for medium... I'll go find the coconut guy down by the market... his waste will be my lifeline;-)

Welcome to the farm.
happy farmin;)
check out the bay there tons and more, strains you are looking for. Alot of creduble breeders here at the farm.
Thank you! My eyes have opened to the realities of the paradigm-shifting phenomenon of legalisation in the US... It really influences much of the globe what you guys perceive to be right or wrong... How do I engage in a transaction with the breeders without breaking the rules of this forum?

I am an African... my family came from the Netherlands in 1720... my surname I share with one of the most notorious Apartheid leaders... Now after 20 years of democracy, the tables had turned completely and I had to make my move away from all the violence and aggravated crime, so I went to Botswana to start a business there and move the farm and the dogs across, after which I came to West Africa alone to take part in the mind blowing economic explosion here... Amazingly privileged life I've led Check out the crazy story on my profile description..I'm to lazy to repeat it here;-)

Hey Dog!

How are your babies progressing?

Keep it green!
Hey Toaster!!

Hope you are well Amigo!?

Even though only one of the little bastards made it.. The force is strong with 'Ebola Kush' ;-)

I ground some egg shells in the hope that it could help with root development..

So this little genius had needed a hand to get placed into a school for his very first day... he was two weeks late but had quickly caught up.. His father is my friend, Tshiamo. At that time he had been arrested so many times for carrying the medicine, in accordance with his religion;-)

Hey bro!

Sucks about your plants! What went wrong? Been meaning to ask you before. What is that medium you're using. Those egg shells are gonna do them good when they start hoging on calcium ;) Are you planing to use any nuteients? Or mixing your own soil/medium?

Nice painting :) Did it yourself? You own one of those boats? Must be cool floating down the rive puffing a fatty :D

Love the way you care bout kids :D

Keep it keeping!

Hey Hombre!

The success rate this round was a #$%@up because I was just %$%#ing around ;-) (I think the chemicals in the toilet paper, overheating from the lamp, twice, and the AC might have played a role)
For the medium, I went around the island I live on, nicking some horse manure and peat from the newly landscaped developments... the rest is just saline dredged sand.. I also found African Hardwood (Mahogany they use here as the only legal source of construction timber) shavings and a part of an ant's nest (very dark and presumed nutritious), so this, with a hand of pit sand, did the trick... Immediate drainage, but with sufficient moisture retention.. the constant 100% humidity also helps.

The nutrients I started harvesting this morning. Last night as well as this morning, I overdosed on multivitamins, most of which exits your body in a sterile medium, namely, urine..... Blended Urine:H2O 10:90.
I will find a garden supply store soon, it's just a chaotic mission to get there from where I am.. Two-Five hour round trip, depending on traffic, however, also reachable by water taxi... ;-) Anyhew, it would be cool to see how the natural alternative pans out.

Rainy season is upon us and with the monthly rainfall between 250-300mm (10-12"), distributed between 16 days of rainfall per month, for the next four months, I don't have to irrigate my guerrilla garden at all;-)))

Temperatures for the next four months: Avg. Maximum: 28-30^C (82-86F) and Avg. Minimum: 22-23 71-73.

About the boats... These water taxis cruise past the island all the time, moving thousands of people to work and back.. even as I sit here, outside in pitch-black water, without lights, this two-way taxi stream is hammering away at top gear;-))) I've been here for two weeks only, so I will get a boat in good time... But I'm thinking something like a semi cat-haul with two 300s, like Dexter's;-) I need to hit the Atlantic HARD!!!

On the Painting: It was my very first attempt. I have drawn before, with charcoal, an Eric Cartman and a beautiful close-up spread legs and vagina, for an arts evening at University residence ;-)) The stiff-upper-lip-professor-judges had my art removed with their pre inspection;-))) The whole kit I got now, is still brand new, my mom bought it as a going away gift before I left Africa Borwa. I'm figuring it out as I go along.. My next challenge is to draw the perfect human hand...

On the Kids: They are much smarter than us grown-ups, so it's a strategic move to stay in their good books;-)

I have harvested about 3oo Ebola Kush seeds from my medicine supply since I got here, so as soon as I can get my ass into more permanent accommodation, I'll be setting up two proper 2m x 2m grow tents and play around with this landrace of mine;-)

West Africa is super TITS AWESOME!!

Peace and love

I need advice on a reasonably priced professional online shop that will ship to West Africa and could supply me with the following: two grow tents (2-2.5m cube), co2 equipment: Regulator and control valve+ CO2 monitor), hygrometer, timers, lighting: Ventilated reflectors, 2 x 1000W electronic ballast, nutrients and activated carbon (100L). Any advice would be highly appreciated! Thanks
