So my cat jumped up on my bed and took a bite of a fan leaf of The only plant I have and in doing so he pulled on the branch too hard and it split Right where I topped it last month I typed her up and tied her back together it split about a half inch down so it’s patched up I’m just wondering the effect this will make on the final product seeing as the two beaches that split are the two main colas

I didn’t split the main stem but had a-good side one torn down off so I taped really good and it kept on growing, it’s crazy but they reparable ...lol

Yeah man you'll be fine. I mostly grow outdoors near the coast in Carolina and I've had more broken branches than I can count, if you tape it well and maybe give it some secondary support it will finish just as good as other colas in fact the stress may fatten up the trichomes a little more than the others. Good luck.

Mine split in the same way by doing too much LST is became hst. It now is solid and actually fatter than if it didnt split! Not noticably smaller or different in any way than my other plants also.

If its repaired right away itll just make it stronger. Personally I'd use medical tape because it breathes. Maybe even... band-aids? lol. And I'd also rig up some padded wire at the first nodes up the branches holding those two stems together.
Not sure how much it really matters though.
