Thanks for asking. I’d be embarrassed to just whoop it out first.

These are doing okay but I need to work on the holes for next year. I never had these holes analyzed but compared to my old holes 🕳 these plants are not as on point.
I needed to move my holes, they were too close together and I miss that primo soil with homemade biochar and ample compost from the forest I live in that my old holes were made of.
This year one plant had some aphids and I foolishly washed the whole plant off with waay too much ultra high strength Dawn. When my blood sugar is too high I move in an absolute fog.
So this beautiful lemon zittle went to shit in one day. I hosed suds off that poor plant three days before it dripped clean, lol. Still, I think she should make it as she hasn’t started any flowering and new growth seems fine.
My plants are late to start flowering compared to some of you. About half are just showing pistils while the rest are still vegging.

All late Gelato drops.

I like how some of these are really bushing out. The runts I might swap out if they don't start catching up in the next week. Yellow cards for root aphids. Mosquito dunks seemed to help. Gonna put down nematodes in the a. m.

Im in Los Angeles and my Wedding Cake mix (the one I call Back Alley Kush) just started flowering also. My Amnesia Haze mix has been showing pistils for a month...a little more hairs everyday. Seems like genetics is a huge factor for when flowering commences when growing outdoors...

Beautiful plants. Hope they pull through. Pests are the worst, for us it was caterpillars. And we lost that battle.

What is the best method to combat caterpillars? I've been picking off 3-5 a day and killing them.. I've got mine in pots outside
Spinosad. I spray every week upto 2 weeks before harvest. they will get into your flowers and make it all brown and rotten if you don’t get rid of them. There are other things you can use, ie BT, but spinosad is my choice.

Spray directly on the leaves and stems?
yes, I got a 2 gallon sprayer at the hardware store for about $20...I use it to spray spinosad and also foliar sprays like seaweed, etc. Read the
spinosad bottle...I think it’s like 1 tsp per gallon (not 100% sure on that)...just mix it all up and spray the whole plant once a week. Turns the
cats into sticks by the next day.
