G-13 Labs Blue Venom betas

hey dude, i just picked up some BVS too and they suffered a little shock too when I transplanted them. Yesterday marked the first day of propagation. They were under a 400W HPS and now have been switched to my DR box that is 4x4x6'7", with a 600 W MH that I ran an 75% (400W) for 6 hours and at 100% (600W) for the other 12 hours. I'm gonna slowly increase it over the next week to the full 600W. I ended up with at least one leaf falling off each plant, and a little yellowing. I just fed them my new feed schedule but I know you have a different medium than me (60% coco, 30% perlite, 10% Vermiblend with some Hygromite top-dressed). Hey sounds great. I can't wait to see how these turn out. They have a nice structure to them. Nice thick main stem and, unlike the Sourlopes and Blueberry I've been running, the shutes on the nodes aren't branching off much, but there are many of them. Every 1/2" or so there is a node with new growth, but there is very little stretch. Looking like it's going to be a VERY large single cola plant. Who knows though, those shutes can start stretching any day, it's still early. Here's another pic of the two keepers. I'm gonna chuck the little girl, she hasn't grown much at all since the last pic, and I'm gonna need to make some more room for my White Widows that just popped. So far, these girls have only gotten distilled water.

just chopped my G13 labs blue venom & pineapple express now drying, i'm looking forward to smoking it... good luck mate its a very nice smelling plant whilst growing....

Hey thanks Seventysevens...They were a little parched at the time of the pic, but I watered them yesterday and they are pointing to the big CFL in the sky now. They grew an inch literally overnight. Quite impressive. I have been really stretching out the time between waterings, not to the point that the plant loses vegetation, just enough that the leaves start to droop. And when they do get their drink, they really shoot like crazy. Lately I haven't been keeping to a particular schedule, just really trying to read the plants individually. Anyhow, thanks for the feedback guys. And that is one great looking plant, I hope mine turns out anything like that.

Hey dudes..hope all of you are doing well. I've been doing some work on my babies, and will start LSTing soon. I've been topping the plants, and am trying a new topping method on one of 'em. Hey man, those look great. i'll be posting some pics of my two remaining girls soon. My CFLs are clearly losing power and growth has slowed down quite a bit, leaves are a bit saggy, etc. I have 3, 125 watters coming soon so they will be back on track. I trimmed the bottom and topped both plants, I really want to get 2 dense little bushes out of these. Check later for some pics.

Hey man, bad news.....the venoms are not doing well because of lack of light. I ordered some new CFL's and they messed up my order. I got the new ones today and they are the wrong size. I need to get new sockets for the lights they sent. It's disappointing, but the lights are actually better than the ones I had so I'm going to keep them and just start a new batch. No more Venoms though, unfortunately, but I'll be doing some feminised Blue Kush. Ckeck in in about a week to see some seedlings.

please tell me u didn't chop it, just add 20 dollars worth of lights from HD, lack of light wont kill the plant.

I haven't chopped them yet, but they aren't very healthy and I'm one who believes in not wasting time on weak plants. It's definitely a light problem, and no they are not dead, but they are seriously hurting and I didn't want to waste time posting pics of hurt plants. If I can get them back to the way they were 2 weeks ago I'll post some pics.

blueberrybud listen to me, don't be embarrassed to post pics, thats how you get help. Check out my journal, I got those plants when they were are almost dead. Just try to get the lights ASAP, try to add some cheap cfl's for a temporary solution.

yep no doubt man,,,I've seen your grows you have skills man,,,sometimes things happen....best of karma all the way around ...peace

i don't think i could kill blue venoms if i tried. those suckers will survive when others can't. they bounce back from stress quickly and adapt to any environment. keep 'em and resuscitate them doc, cause your babies won't give up unless you do
