I recently found circular holes in one, and only one of my plants leaves, upon inspection I found a single, yellow ladybug.... Now from what I was told is ladybugs are beneficial, but I have also heard there are bad ones as well, but never came into contact with any, but I suspect that it is the culprit, Just strange that with the sheer numbers in my room, the one that shows symptoms has a ladybug in it, I have never had any problems before with any other pests (Knock on wood), just fungus and mold problems in my grow history, but I do have a veggie garden that had the same thing happening with the cabbage and I cant find anything on them ever. I really want to nip this in the bud (haha, I'm punny funny) before it gets any worse. Has anyone else experience issues with a yellow ladybug before? Or could it be something else?

Ladybugs are usually orange with black dots on the wings. There are some new Chinese bugs that look a lot like them, but I don't think they are plant eaters. Got pics? On doing some research, some Ladybugs are omnivores, so a plant could be on the menu. Keep your eyes peeled!

a yellow ladybug isnt the good kind, but it also wont hurt your cannabis at all. the problem here is that it is inside, you'll need to research solutions on that. they can be harmfull to other animals, leave an odor, and/or stain the walls

i know exactly whats eating your cabbage, green worms, take some azmax and do a drench watch them come out of the soil, they also live in the heads, same problem last year,i dont sleep and went out to work in my garden about 2 in the morning, with the red light on my ball cap light i noticed a flow on them and sure as shit damn cabbage worms, mine only got about 1 1/2 in long but destroyed all the heads before i got them gone, when i pulled the plant and started peeling back the head they had bore holes in bottom of the head,so took some azmax and drenched the soil with about a gallon of water, them damn things come out of the soil like fire was on there ass and i mean a lot, they stay in the soil by the way,so rotation is key,i took all my soil from containers and dumped and made new soil, the lady bugs im not sure of,i have those japanese bugs in my garden right now, busted there ass with neem last night, tearing my corn and pumpkins up

No shit man! I'll be damned! I was too late, went out there this morning and the cabbage was destroyed, cut the head open saw the boreholes, cut my last 2 plants down and I'm not shitting you, like 4 of em right at the base of the stalk! You think maybe one of those suckers hitchhiked into my grow room? On a stranger note I killed the one ladybug just before I received any responses and I plucked the leaves affected and have found no new damage. Weird, right? Ordered some Azamax anyway, nowhere around me for 60 miles sells it so I have to wait till Monday before it gets here, so hopefully I don't see anything else and I can just spray bi weekly as a preventative measure since I am constantly moving from my outdoor garden back inside throughout the day. R.I.P. my cabbage, on to better, brighter pastures.

Capt Jacks works? We have that local if all else fails! Thanks man! But doesnt the leaf pic I posted look just like the damage they do to the cabbage? Its much less drastic than the cabbage, but I swear the damage is Identical. Have you ever heard of cabbage worms eating cannabis?

never have but will say this,a tomato horn worm ,when it eats the plant it will move on to any wide leaf greens it can get, them bastards crawl on the ground ,ive chased there ass across my yard, best to hit them with sizzors or fingers, with a flash light in the dark, there camo is almost to great during daylight hours, but when it dark the plant has a glow that gives them up,got 46 off one damn plant this years 32 off the other, killed all after dark, wound up cutting all foilage off the plants were what i could get would finish, them damn things even chew the tomato, far as your pic showed im just guessing,i will look at it again.
just looked no i dont think it is the worms we talked about, look more like grass hoppers hard to tell outside i gave up couple years back, all kind shit eating my breed plants, werent effecting the pods so let them do there thing, after a couple days they gone, crazy, guess they were tired of tripping hahahah
