I use a pair of dehumidifiers in the open basement to keep the whole house below 60% and intake air from inside (air conditioned in summer) and exhaust out the chimney. This constantly removes the humidity in the grow room amd replaces with properly conditioned air without additional heat.

I use the room next door as a lung room and veg room. The ac is in there and the intake fans for the flower room. So no ac or dehumidifiers in the flower room. Just filter and exhaust fans.

The opposite happens in winter when the furnace makes the house dry. I run a whole house humidifier and exhaust the flower room under the living room for supplemental heat.

Commercial Brand suggestion if you haven’t cause if you use this one, should solve those issue ( it did for me!)

Quest commercial dehumidifiers! , if want remove the heat = duct the heat out ( no problem )
Ya a little expense of a unit but you have to remember humidity and heat are one of the biggest factor in the In environment success . people buying dehumidifiers that are underrated will just have to buy 2x and than buy 2x-4x on repairs compared a quest they are that good on durability and efficiency , if you put a dehumidifier on the ground ( humidity rises, so does heat ) and once mounted it’s not in your face or walk ways anymore .

Model suggestion for quest’s : Quest 105
Inless your getting a 500+ quart , this is best money for your buck ( I own a 105,150 & 150) honestly wish I would of bought 3 105’s after knowing more of the efficiency’s per watt on the units.

Deshumidifier are basically Air conditionner, with both evaporator and condenser in the same unit .. so the heat produced by the compressor heat the room instead of being evacuated outside..
maybe you can look for dessicant dehumidifier .. these dont produce heat or not much .. but it looks very pricey

ps: imo deshumidifier are made to run with a air conditionner system in the same room, sealed environnement .. to keep the heat in check and avoid venting

How do you control heat with the lights on? Cant you use the same system? That's how I do it, with a temp controller on my exhaust fan. My room just stays in the same temp range day and night, been running it that way for years with no issues. An AC would be ideal but that will get expensive to run. That's my plan for the last 2 weeks of bloom though, I'll fire up my AC along side the dehu in the dark just to set a 10 degree differential between day and night to bring out some color.

I vent my room out into my other room like you, i have 600watt hps light in 6" cool tube.

I have problems I'm summer, but in winter it I can get the humid down to 56-60. But summer its about 59-62 day and 62-82.
The temps are at night drop down to 70f-69 f bumped my radiator u now tho to try get it lower..

The dehumidifier is like the one some one just explain about the air compressor is warming up the room hotnair dinwa out

I controlled with a control unit with a temp sensor, it runs low speed but when hits 78f it .comes on so my room lights on it's 78-98f in day,,, and then night 70-78f
I can turn the radiotror up in the tent so night temps at at constrlant 72-74f and humidity seems to drop a bit to about 58-60 , i bumped my radiator up to night tontry to stop the 82 I see recorder on the thermometer that mW at one point in the night it hit 82 lol ;)

The queat105 is very similar to mine it blows out hor air that hot air needs to be blown in the room but it raises Temp way up 85f about

They run hot. Hot as a window air conditioner if it vented back into the room. You either need sufficient exhaust and or air conditioning like dirtbag said or get a ventable mountable one like burned haze said. Cant have humidity spiking like you are saying. And too much heat ruins our flowers.

Wait I missed something. You are venting into the next room while its hot and humid? I have to vent my exhaust for the flower room outside or it would get very hot and humid in the whole house.

The these ac unit I can see are using like 2000 wat min that to much.

I have 2 tents their metre 1.2x1.2 , 2metre high. And them 2 tents are in a room that is about 8-9 for square, the tent door are always wide open I summer so the while room their in is all the same.temps., in winter incan close the tent doors and get better control of things..
