Foxtailing?

Light schedule is on point.
She is the only specimen to have configuration of this nature.

She's from the Cinderella line.

Hey detroit , sativa leaning strains are the ones that usually foxtail on me , some people like it , i cant stand it....
Yours are a really mild case of foxtailing , maybe not even .....
Ive had many c99 ' s that look exactly like yours ....
How far along is she ?

Where do you see foxtails? Looks pretty nice to me, small, but nice a crystally.

I agree with @dire wolf, it is there but very mild. It's largely genetic but can also be from heat and/or light stress.

My prediction is , buds fill out , maybe with a bit of a pointy tip , but no where near true " foxtailing" at this point......

What is to hot? Is it ambient temp or leaf temp? Or par value? Not tryin to be an ass , just wanna learn . Got some goin on right now

I use the start of foxtailing to tell me when it is time to finish. The first signs are usually a more pointed end of the buds. When it progresses, it will grow little fingers instead of the regular round bud. It is more of an asthetic issue, but in my experience, Sativa strains are more likely to foxtail.
Judging by your pictures, I think you have perhaps another 2 weeks before the foxtailing gets excessive.

I still let my buds finish ripening. I dont cut just because they foxtail. Doesnt mean they are done in my opinion. The trichomes can still be quite clear and new ones growing.

How far along is she ?

I dusted her back at the end of February. She's developing seeds..has about 2 -3 weeks left on a 8/9 week flowering schedule

I usually chop when the calender date is reached but I also include a few parameters like how the flower feels to the touch n squeeze method. If they look good, feel tight and hard, I pull it.

She's the only one doing it.
Like you guys say, it could be genetics but then again, it could be anything

Haze and thai strains tend to foxtail. Nothing wrong with it except newer growers are used to dense little indica buds. I like to break them off and throw in a bowl when dry.

Mine are mostly clear but starting to turn I’m gonna let her go a few more days

yes, trimmed haze for a grower. he made us cut the foxes off. didnt like the look. young guy.
