Can I be cheaed if I read good?

My first grow. Let’s say I do everything right. “Don’t argue with me, just let me have it.” And I pick a bag of seeds that have phenomenal genetics and uber reviews because people don’t lie, and it turns out, that the final product smokes like a pack of wet camels on a hot summer day? how do you know they’re telling you the truth?? Not about the camels.

Well .. someone fucked up the cure is most likely the case..

Genetics only take you TO the finish line.. Its up to you to CROSS that line..

Almost every seed bank stocks popular named strains from “seed mills”. They are commercial grown in high volume to sell to distributers at bulk prices.

I have some commercial white widow and critical mass seeds. While they grow somewhat uniform and compact plants with decent smell and budding none of them were what i would consider a keeper or elite plant.

I actually would recommend them for beginners.


And yes the lies in the seed industry are vast and can start with the breeder.


Ever notice every company had white widow and now gorilla glue?

Heard it’s a an easy strain to grow. Had my shot with the sativas, doing fairly well. I’ll have my shot at no topping and LST only with the kush. Stay tuned...

That Cali connection stuff goes for $65 an eight here before tax. No thanks. Haha

That’s so true. OK let me ask. I’m looking for two stains to begin with. Both high in THC, one couch Loch for pain and sleep, and the other, a sativa that might give me the giggles even when I’m watching commercials? Oh and are some strains longer lasting? Anybody buy from ILGM? I feel like that’s too many questions

It was $60 plus tax for 6 seeds i think.

They are all hybrids. You can end up with a seed plant with both your descriptions in one pack of a modern strain.


ILGM seems to be a competent commercial seed seller. I have seen many nice grows online.

Pick a strain. Read all about it and get to work bud!

I would avoid chem, diesel and thai sounding crosses. They can be pickier than many. The Blue Lemon Thai i had been growing is such a picky plant i went through a couple packs before i hot some real good potential out of them. They are a hybrid containing diesel, thai, g13 and some more unknown elite strains from the 90’s.


I grew northern lights the first time and got 11 oz of nice bud despite my many mistakes. A diesel plant would have been a burned yellow hermie with the same treatment.
