Looking great! Love plants from seed LOL they're so neat and uniform 🌲🌲🌲 and when you top them they do what you expect!

I might be starting some Northern Lights seeds after this tray of cuttings roots, aside from one Blackberry Gum seed I started in spring I haven't started a seed all year, I don't recall about last year?

Even though I used to start trays of 50 seeds to get my 24 females for the sog it's still my least favorite thing to do, too stressful! 😩

Thanks man!
I love seed plants and i am getting that bunch of seeds from the contest. New flavors (to me) from a new breeder (HSC) to practice with. And i have some of those useful seeds chocolate diesel and chemdog x bag of oranges.

I dont want to keep clones now but the plant on the front right in the pic earlier is the perfect Black Widow x Blue Lemon Thai and these are my last seeds.

Gonna be hard to ignore. If she is like the plant i am thinking she will be a super productive and potent girl. Its basically better tasting original shanti widow with an even trippier high compliments of ch9 and motarebel.

What did you think of that Chocolate Diesel? I've been eyefucking Useful's chocolate strains for a while.

The chocolate diesel is just as an s-1 should be. Really interesting and mostly uniform phenos that lean one way or the other for the most part.

I lost the cut i saved that looked just like @dire wolf ’s old chocolate trip cut.

I have a few more seeds though.

The chemdog cross grew all potent plants and decent chem structure and taste with the citrusy background but imo a blander hybrid. A couple plants were really tasty. Gassy citrus. Pretty common i think.

Too many crosses..

Sounds like she should get revenged after harvest and a long term mother?

All right. Seedsherenow shipped me my awesome free POTM prize seeds tracked and in a nice priority mail box.

Everything as ordered. What a generous prize and the manager there was very helpful and answered emails promptly.

Thanks @logic and Seedsherenow! @TheRealJamesBean :-)

And everyone who voted for my pic.

Uh oh. Some spotting and leaf stress a few days after 3 gallon transplant. The temp dropped and i had the plants grown too close to the light but the dripping temp shouldnt be low enough for root zone problems.

I will treat the next 2 plants with botanigard at transplant. I did not see any evidence of bugs during the transplants. They looked great one day and spotty the next.

Too late for imid in my opinion so when they dry out i will soak with botanigard.

This youngin’ was too close to the lamp I think. Just light burn starting. I moved her down and the new growth looks ok.

And a full pic. The plants on the left got botanigard this evening. Definitely stresses them a bit.

I hope the spotting is water stress or they may have been a bit close and got too much light intensity too. They have all been lowered now.

I am not used to my 600 blue. Its pretty intense for veg in that blockbuster lamp.

Shit man, did you treat the 3 gal transplants with botanigard too? Ive never seen it cause a reaction like that. Even tank mixed with nutes.
Thats frustrating as hell..

No. They were treated last watering in the one gallon but not while transplanted to the three.

Im going to treat the next two tomorrow at transplant. Hoping i dont have resistant root aphids. Because the change for the worse overnight has ne real spooked. They looked great after transplant. I will have to refer to the pics earlier in the thread.

The numbers came back perfect on both plants. 1.1ec and 6.2 ph in and out.

I admit i am not experienced with my current nutes. But dont think thats the problem.

My dryer was taking a long time to dry so i replaced the exhaust flexible duct and took apart and cleaned out all the lint. It wasnt horrible but the duct was packed pretty good. Dont want any fires starting.

Im glad i did it though. One of the pully’s inder the drum was pretty clogged and sticky. I used an ice pick to get all the hair out of the axle and bearing. Spins much better now.

Even worked when i put it back together. Bonus!

I thought the sticker I got from the seed bank was funny and appropriate.

No outside clones come into this garden.

Thats funny man. I get the point, but the best plants ive ever grown were clone only cuts. Sometimes you just gotta have a quarantine zone and the right weapons to fight anything that pops up. That said there is something to be said about being a closed system and not allowing outside plants in the room at all costs. Pests suck.

Yeah i have a propogator tent I was going to use for quarantine. But i have no real access here to anything worth having.

I want @dire wolf ’s ESCD. !!! :-)

I saw nice clone shippers with a cup for established clones. They even have little led cloners to ship now.

Agreed. It would be cool if we all start shipping our prized cuts to each other lol. Keep the genetics out there.

Transplanted the Blue Lemon Thai plants to their final 3 gallon pot.

Here is one of them front and center.

Both transplants

DC31A215 3F3D 4086 9779 16D455F418EC

Everyone growing fast. Had to lower all stands.

D98FCE57 DC54 4F49 A379 B837484006EC

The Citral x Pow 33’s doing well. They are all at least a week faster through veg under the 600 blue compared to the t-5 flourescents. Also only 250 watts compared to 600. The 315 cmh will be perfect I think.

1F6A10B7 C55D 499E A3B4 ABC49D5358C1

The Herijuana x Jack 33 seedlings are about ready to move up to 1 gallons.

27A1743E 60E0 4620 A537 0B1575F11F29

And the one with the light burn actually repaired herself some and then grew new healthy leaves. Good for her. ;-)

F2D12DC9 8281 4552 A263 2FECB3FBB1B8

The Black Widow x BLT’s did not get worse like i feared but instead slowly improved. Light and water stress! I transplanted and watered too soon. Grower error! Not likely bugs.

02C734B3 A9D6 49B9 8DE1 B92DED84FFB0

And a full garden pic an hour after all stands were adjusted to hopefully a better distance from the lights.

1 week til we start 12/12 and switch to HPS on the 4 in 3 gallons and the smaller 4 go to the veg tent til ready.

Every time I read one of these epic threads I'm like... why did I start this hobby? There are so many things that can go wrong that I won't recognize. I only went back about 30 days or so. Great info. I was trying to get a feel for how old your plants were on this run before you flipped. It seems that the 30 day point is what everyone does but it just seems much earlier than what I am used to. I assume that its been worked out that this is the most efficient for yield and quality. They just seem so small to me.

BTW we share a love of cycling though I have not been able to do it much this year due to a medical condition. Same thing that makes it hard to sleep more than a couple of hours at a time but this is the one thing that helps.

Yea, I used to think the same, until I started really trying to drive growth with my autos. Now anything past day 21-25 seems kinda far along in my eyes, but things like outdoor and whatnot are just completely different animals, than what your trying for indoors.

Indoor lights simply don't have the "reach" to benefit from growing a plant too big. Smaller is generally better, IMO, as long as you can keep the "bulk" on them.

I have not flipped yet. I go 6-7 weeks usually it depends on if a spot in flower is open normally. Im starting over here after running it perpetually 5 years but the root aphids made me stop.

And i too am not riding like i want. I have progressing conditions too. And agree. Weed helps.

Glad you stopped in. :-)

Yeah you need to keep plants in the effective footprint of the light. Not just area but also depth. My 600’s in the blockbusters can bud a plant down about 30” with a loose canopy. So i grow them to fill the space provided. Usually they end up 30” over the pot and 2-3’ wide. Hopefully with 4-6oz dry average on them. ;-)
