First time grower here. Got 3 plants growing. One Amnezia Fem inside a 5 gallon smart pot with Happy Frog soil. Got 2 Maui Wowie Fem in red cups, FFOF soil. I am using distilled water ph at 6.5. The cotyledon leaf broke off the Maui Wowie soon as it germinated, my other maui Wowie is growing mad slow. The Amnezia is growing fast but it seems to have some deficiency. I was wondering should I keep the Maui Wowie(s) or let them go?

I'm no expert but using distilled water sounds wrong unless you use some base nutrient in it, if you drink distilled water it sucks nutrients from you body so I imagine something similar could happen to the plant/soil

The research I've done and watching countless videos, distilled water was recommended.

Like said, I'm no expert, I know people are using RO water as well but I thought you were supposed give it base nutrients and/or CalMag... I'm sure someone more experienced will chime in soon enough :-)

I'm using fox farm soil. There's no need for me to give base nutrients when the soil is full with nutrients to last a good 4 weeks.

Obviously, keep them. They are not occupying much space or resources. Let them have a few weeks at least to attempt to be successful.

Thank you. I'll do so. Was just worried seeing the cotyledon broke off. The bank I bought them from gave me bad seeds that didn't germinate. Just hoping these aren't bad as well. Tomorrow will make 1 week I started growing them
