Got the other lamps up and squeezed them a little closer under the lights. Let the 2K of HPS glory get to work!
Should probably think about supporting them soon. They could also use a bit of a pruning.. Thankfully i know ive got some time to do it before they get out of control 😅

Could do with a seasoned opinion, 2 out of the 5 look pink under the cotleydons, they rekkon there's an 80% chance of a pink pheno. Do you think this is a good indication

Yeah its good to take notes about subtle differences like this, especially if you get to know a strain well, you can often identify different phenotypes early on if you know the different genetic expressions.

They only lasted a couple days and now i need to move them apart again.. Thats a good thing.
Theyve really started to pick up speed in the last few days, colour has really become a nice shade of green all over all the plants, although you cant tell under this lighting... Even the purple wreck has greened up. The sky cuddler double kush also really rebounded hard!
What is surprising me the most though is the growth on the lamsbreath x ak49. They were some of the teeniest clones ive ever started with, and theyve caught up to everything except the chronic mint tarts, which, looks like its gonna be an absolute beast of a plant. Those are the 4 in the back left quadrant.. well, one of them is actually the spiked punch i think. nevertheless..

This was the LBxAK49 5 days ago. Its almost doubled in size in the last week alone.

Also ive mentioned how much thicker the leaves feel in the hand, and i think you can somewhat see that in the pic as crazy as it sounds. But they do feel a lot different than im used to. Worth noting.

Also a quick follow up on my water usage notes.. Wow. I mean there is no comparison. In coco or wool id have dumped my runoff bins about 5 or 6 times already, and probably have already used 100+ gallons or so. Im still sipping on the same 50 gallon barrel i started with. Need to refil today actually. And havent dumped my runoff totes once.

Thats actually a pretty big deal for me where access to water is a manual labor activity.. And ive gotta say... my plants arent THAT much smaller. A little slower but i normally flipped after 3-4 weeks veg where I flipped after 2 here. I think the plants would be similar size after a 3-4 week veg to be honest.

thats why i love peat mix so much. I dont want to deal with more water either. And watching all your grows it looks like the trade off compared to coco or the grodan blocks is about 2 weeks maybe 3 week faster veg growth max.

i have upped my perlite ratio to 50/50 on the next plants. Hoping to speed up things a bit. But it will still be 2-3 days between waterings even at peak flowering. Love the week wait when they are young or transplanted.

Agreed. I think the coco or rockwool shaved about a week off of a 4 week veg, from 4 weeks down to 3 for the same sized plant in soiless, and this grow is close to my regular soiless, a bit slower but not by much considering the acceleration in growth ive seen in the last week. But flower times are the same. The question will be if i can match the hydro bud development i had using minimal light and no co2, in organics by increasing the light intensity and adding co2.

And yeah i didnt realize how much water i was blowing through. This grow really put it in perspective. Like you said, first week was one watering. second week was 2 or 3 waterings. So freakin simple..lol. Similar to running soiless with chelated nutes but even less water because they transpire a bit slower and i dont water to much of any runoff at all, which i did with regular soiless.

I dont think ya will quite get there but it will make a pretty significant difference. I'm gonna guess 15-20%ish. The faster the growth to start with and the higher the ppfd it starts getting nutty
