No on the contrary it’s growth rate was substantially faster than its counterpart. It grew in more of a male pattern. It was also less potent, had long thin buds and a slightly different smell and flavor.
Very cool, I noticed on the plant that was having all sorts of problems had a solid stem all the way up. Possibly restricting the flow of water and nutes, damn mutant 🤣
Thanks for reading! This is, by far, my favorite hobby and the folks here are exceptional. I cut them at 12 weeks from seed. Going to start a new thread that’ll hopefully be more of a grow journal than a panic stricken dash to get answers on issues. About ready to jar up my harvest and move my...
Well I saw a handful of leaves with spots developing this morning. Water level didn’t drop by much ppm stayed at 640 ph at 5.5
The plant on the right is starting to fatten up. The one on the left hasn’t got the memo yet.
Yeah it’s crazy how quickly they respond to things. I saw a video @Aqua Man posted watering an underwatered plant and within two min it went from limp dick to full attention.
ill give it a bit and see what happens. What else can I do at this point! 😂
I kept the calmag in the same dose but just took out the high nitrogen nutrient but I get what your saying, totally makes sense.
I try and adjust things slowly so they don’t get upset. Been basically following the gh feed chart as if I had 8 gallons instead of 10
I have everything logged I...
I’ve only seen this in juvenile leaves. Lower leaves and new growth seem unaffected.
yeah I went too heavy on the nitrogen but since seeing the symptoms of nitrogen toxicity I started to skip the flora gro. The cal mag has nitrogen in it as well so I think that was the issue.
ill have to look...
Nice, love a good chart.
I did a change out the other day, Calmag was Added at 110-120 ppm
No flora gro added with this res change only bloom and micro. 5 grams of epsom for 10 gallons total. Roots look ok. Don’t smell funky or anything... kinda smells like a fish tank
thought it might be rust...
Ppm was 640 after the top off.
I removed all of the plagued leaves and any other leaf that looked suspicious.
Definitely don’t think it’s insects or a nutrient problem, light, water, exchange, circulation, reservoir or vpd.
So that leaves fungus right? I’m thinking if it pops back up I’ll hit...
The progression over a few days
I’ve put these under the scope and haven’t seen anything. Another grower said russet mites , and to look near the base of the leaves I’ll get some pics up

Update
So the other day my heaters did not show up and with the plants looking worse by the day I decided my fish could live a few days with out theirs.
res temp now sitting at 72
I still think it’s spreading. I left a few of the affected leaves on they have become dried and crunchy to the...
Awe man that’s one hell of a way to start the day. I’ve seen these mesh root bags, i guess you would call them, in other Dutch bucket setups. Even if they were used to just plug the drainage holes they might help keep the roots at bay. Pretty cheap on the amazon.
