First time dwc grower trying to correct ph problems.

There is some truth to this I wouldn’t say hydro is too much work compared to promix though. I have a ss #4 room and two ocean forest rooms too and I’ll take the rdwc any day of the week for every reason. The only thing I’ll give the advantage to is the safety other then that you are a step...

First time dwc grower trying to correct ph problems.

It’s only because it’s a standalone dwc. I set my rdwc at the start of the grow and don’t touch anything for the first 2 weeks or so. After that it’s just pumping 20 gallons into a trash can to top off every 3 days. Ive left my system alone for weeks before and came back to them being a ok...

Just saying most problems in dwc come from hot water and the ph being off if you have both of those right it’s almost impossible to fail.

You guys also realize you can take a dehumidifier and use is as a chiller as well right? There’s some wiring involved but if you’re game and aren’t scared it’s a lot better then spending $600 on a chiller that may or may not last. You just have to bypass the controls and wire in an external...

If it really is algae which I doubt it’s inside the bucket on the roots highly but assuming I’m wrong they sell black painters plastic at hd by the roll for dirt cheap just wrap your buckets in that.

You’re honestly talking about a $30 water pump, 8 bulk heads if you do it right I’m assuming it’s a 4 site @ like $2, a box of 3/4” tubing @ $25-$50, a 6 way manifold for the drip lines which is like $5 at hd, 1/4 tubing for the drip lines, 5 air stones you should already have and the rest is...

My first grow ever was a dwc 😂 never again lol.

Since you’re already kind of stuck though I would do it by hand for the next couple days and go build an rdwc system on the side and transfer all those plants into it seeing how all you have to do is hold the lid up. Not like it’s gonna shock them either it’s literally the same system done smarter.

I didn’t read the responses but the problem is you are growing a bush in 3 gallons of water. Next time hook up a rez and make it an rdwc system. If you look back through my posts there was some jack off who tried to argue that this was a better method then an rdwc and this is one of the...

Myths About Light During Dark Time In Flower

I’ve never had a light leak with any kind of led / hid light, sunlight, light bouncing through ducts, red lights on equipment, or even light slips for that matter just be ok 😂. Gtfo with that I don’t even wanna hear it idk who is spreading that lie and why.

Myths About Light During Dark Time In Flower

Absolutely green light isn’t the light I was referring to here lol. These guys are saying on this post they have light beaming in from the veg room and nothing is going wrong I find that hard to believe.

Myths About Light During Dark Time In Flower

Maybe outdoors is different and it’s one of those things we don’t understand about the moon but indoor crops can not take it.

Myths About Light During Dark Time In Flower

Lmao you guys are nuts and a perfect example of why you shouldn’t listen to people talking on the internet sometimes. Do your own experiments and let us know how it goes 😂. When your leaves start clawing you’re already fucked just FYI. I’d like to see all these healthy buds and plants with no...

Aqua Mans method to cure root rot (live systems only)

Man this is a really good post they should put this in a hydro bible. Bear with me here this is a long post but a very informative one I’m about to make here. There’s a long story attached to it but if you’re having these problems I suggest reading to the end you will be surprised and also you...

Could Air Stones Be Doing More Harm Than Good?

A while back I caught a bad bounce on some compromised clones and had to scrap an undercurrent, chiller, seals the whole 9 lol. Now that I look back on it I don’t know why I wasn’t doing it this way I do it now the whole time but hey it took me 12 years and a lot of hard thumps to the forehead...

Could Air Stones Be Doing More Harm Than Good?

Imagine an undercurrent 12xxl but instead of each row being buckets plumbed into each other I just made buckets a bucket and got rid of the plumbing and all of the cleaning which was the biggest motivator. I use 6mm painters plastic to line them with that costs $66 for a 100’ x 20’ roll. Bad...

Could Air Stones Be Doing More Harm Than Good?

No like I built a giant rectangle bucket that takes the place of all the totes I previously used. I line the trough with pond liner for a security layer incase something leaks then I put a piece of painters plastic I cut out to line the trough over the pond liner. When the grow is over I rip...
