Got my barrel cleaned the best I could, and my pump setup. Just waiting on the coming rain to refill it now. Put up some white tarp today as well.

Blueberry and Afghan Kush regev 1st outdoor grow

Ran 100ft of soaker hose today. Should hopefully work well to keep the soil moist when we go through a dry patch. Now I just need to put my spare pump in my rain barrel. Going to plumb in a new fitting for the soaker hose, and use the current fitting for when I want to gravity feed with a hand wand.

Blueberry and Afghan Kush regev 1st outdoor grow

Not much to update right now. I did go ahead and top the 3 other plants from the 2nd group of pics in the top post. The other Blueberry and 2 Afghan reveg's will be grown naturally, or possibly with some lst, depending on how they grow. The weather is cloudy and rainy for the next 3-4 days, but...

Blueberry and Afghan Kush regev 1st outdoor grow

Forgot to add that I also mixed in about 3/4 cup of EWC into the top 2-3" of soil around each plant. I was planning to top dress with rabbit poop. My father raises bunnies, and always has a 30 gallon trash can full of the stuff. I'd have to find a way to separate it from the hay and alfalfa...

    When to top Blueberry outdoor?

Heights not too much of an issue, so long as I keep em under 6ft, but being shorter and stealthier would not be a bad thing. I've just read that Blueberry should be topped to perform her best, and I'd like to have a comparison for next season since I'll be keeping this cut around if it does...

Blueberry and Afghan Kush regev 1st outdoor grow

A little late to the party on this one, but a short back story up to this point. 7 Blueberry clones. 6 put in the ground a week ago, and 1 put out late yesterday. Also 2 Afghan Kush clones taken between week 1 and 2 of flower. All clones were taken within a week or 2 of each other, vegged in...

    When to top Blueberry outdoor?

I have 7 Blueberry clones outdoor. 6 were put out about a week ago, and 1 was put out yesterday. All clones taken from the same mother, and vegged indoor under the same light and in the same soil. All were well rooted in solo cups and hardened off before transplanting outside. I'm wanting to top...

Anyone run the Vivosun VS2000, or Ativia QH2000?

Thanks. I'm actually liking the idea of the TSW2000. An extra $50 up front would get me the same 300w as the 3 SF1000's, be cheaper overall, and only one light to lang. I was also looking at the Bloom Plus BP3000. It 300w, and uses 1174 Samsung 2835 diodes. I don't know if those are good or...

Anyone run the Vivosun VS2000, or Ativia QH2000?

My main concern is that they're only 200w. After some more searching I found I can get 2 SF-1000D's for $180. Two of those would also be 200w. Maybe I could use those, and add a 3rd come flower? They claim a 2x2 footprint per light though, so even with a 3rd, I'm not sure how I'd get even...

Anyone run the Vivosun VS2000, or Ativia QH2000?

I have a 3x4 flower tent, but with my fans and such, I really only use closer to 3x3 for flower. I'm looking for an led panel that will have equivalent, or greater output than my current 400w mh/hps setup, and want to stay under $200. Looking on Amazon, I found the Vivosun, which claims 4x4...

Low yield on the last couple grows. Could use some advice.

Here's some pics of the two that are still in the tent, and a couple pics of the largest bud (by far) on the chopped plant. They grew well during veg, but no real height from the branches. I had to continue training through the stretch to space out the buds. Wondering if I trained for too long...

Low yield on the last couple grows. Could use some advice.

About 3-4 grows, maybe 5 even. I'm trying to find a decent led panel for under $200 that will still give me more output than the 400w mh/hps, while drawing less electricity.

Low yield on the last couple grows. Could use some advice.

My phone broke a few days back, and I'm waiting on a new one to arrive. I'll try and get some pics after my old S3(yuck) charges. The temp and especially the rh fluctuates depending on the weather here in Michigan, but up until the past week the temps in the flower tent have been mid 70's, and...

Low yield on the last couple grows. Could use some advice.

So my 1st grow was 3 cash crop auto's in soil under ~250w of cfl/t12 and yielded around 6oz. Next grow was 3 c99 photos in soil under 400wmh for veg, and 400whps for flower and yielded about 11oz. 3rd grow was a cookies kush, and jungle wreck photo in an rdwc system under 400wmh/400whps, and...

    Quick question about my ph

I know, but it's all I have at the moment other than the sulphuric acid that I normally use, but I didn't want to use that stuff in an organic grow.

    Quick question about my ph

I ran my tap water through 2 brita filters and adjust my ph to 6.7 with apple cider vinegar. When testing my ph after the water has sat for a bit, the water fresh from the jug was 6.3, and the water I let set out was 7.3. My question is which is more important, the ph at the time of watering...

Looking for advice on moving to a living soil setup for a perpetual 12/12 from clone.

Got my wicking figured out, and the plants are taking to their new home well. I ordered some Wallace "wow" myco. I thought it was the water soluble type when I bought it, but it's granules instead. I used the handle of a measuring cup to bore 2 ~4" holes per plant on opposing sides about 4-5"...

Looking for advice on moving to a living soil setup for a perpetual 12/12 from clone.

Thanks. I'll start looking for some Mycorrhizae and add it in after I figure out why my setup doesn't seem to be wicking. It's been a little over 24hrs and the water level hasn't moved a bit.
