Down to Earth Dry Amendments/ feeding

I have had more success at 6.5 than 6.8+ I try to move across a range of 6 to 6.5 and have had similar success to Mr. Canuck in this range. One of the harder things is timing the top dressing because you dont want to overfeed but also cannot wait for deficiencies to appear (top dressing is too...

Down to Earth Dry Amendments/ feeding

Hey @ArealBoy, I should clarify that top dressing with the 2-8-4 doesn't make the nitrogen toxicity go away, its just that by the time I went to amend the medium, most of the 4-4-4 had already been consumed. So keep that in mind. You have to be a bit careful with 4-4-4 and autoflowering plants...

Does in house really have a herm problem?

I have super cropped in the past, but I never considered it as a means to reduce the apical dominance, thanks for the idea, I will definitely be giving that a shot on the next cycle.

Does in house really have a herm problem?

B52 is a B vitamin supplement, my intention was to reduce the stress of the topping. Looking back on my notes I see that the clones were transplanted December 8th and then had grown enough to be topped 3 days later on the 11th. This was likely plenty of stress to cause the one plant to show...

Does in house really have a herm problem?

Im not talking down about IHG, their flowers are beautiful. Maybe they take a more talented grower than I, I've only grown the 4 IHG plants and 1 had fully developed pollen sacks not just stamens within the buds, this is my first indoor grow though. The remaining plants are looking frosty with...

Does in house really have a herm problem?

These plants were topped once on December 11th about 40ish days ago, then the branches were trained down to let the canopy fill before switching to flower. I have fed them B52 at full strength the day before any topping or defoliation in an attempt to reduce the stress.

Does in house really have a herm problem?

We can add deluxe sugar cane to the list (platinum x slurmint ix #7) had to chop a plant (back right in photo, 4 plants total) today after finding pollen sacks on the lower branches. Ive defoliated fairly heavily to prevent bud rot and PM so there has definitely been at least some stress, the...

    Aqua Man planning organics (Questions)

I think what MiMedGrower is getting at is that the organic matter has been pre processed to improve the speed of absorbtion, this could be done using chemicals, enzymes, fermentation microbes, etc... The devil is in the details, some processes are more natural than others, but at the end of the...

    Aqua Man planning organics (Questions)

As I understand it bacteria and fungi decompose the organic matter down into salts and then trade the salts with the plants in exchange for sugars. You dont need to add the microbes though it will help, they are common in the enivronment so they are always present. I like the simplicity of...

IPM In Canada Without Pesticide License

What ratios are you using for the epsom salts in the foliar fungicide? I haven't heard of epsom salts in a fungicide, is it just meant to be a nutrient boost at the same time? Thank you for the information! Im curious, how strong is the smell on the preventative cocktail if I am planning on...

My recurring issue during flowering wtf

In my limited experience I had the same issue with salt build up that had me thinking over/under feeding around mid flower, my problem was poor watering practices, feeding with every watering, and not watering until run off. My fix was to switch to a feed water water feed schedule but still no...

My recurring issue during flowering wtf

I think you probably have other things going on so definitely wait for others with more experience, but I have found when you are reducing feed and then increasing feed trying to chase deficiencies, very likely your PH is off so I would double check that. Also if you can add more info about...

I need help controlling RH in Flower

I would return that Vivosun dehumidifier for 2 reasons. 1. Its capacity is less than 1 pint a day (400ml). 2. Dehumidifying within the tent will only work if you are not doing constant air exchange (sealed or partially sealed environment). The main issue with dehumidifying from within the tent...

I need help controlling RH in Flower

Don't waste your time and money with peltier based dehumidifiers (the small personal dehumidifiers), they will not work for our purposes. If I had to guess I would say your dehumidifier is either too small or is old and no longer running efficiently, your best bet will be to upgrade to at least...

IPM In Canada Without Pesticide License

What are people in Canada using for IPM? I ask because all the approved insecticide and fungicides for cannabis growing are regulated products in Canada which cannot be obtained without either being a farm, exterminator, or selling the products. I am in Ontario so if anyone knows of a source...

To Harvest Or Not To Harvest...

Water with plain PHed water as normal, this is a long term harvest flush to let the plant use up the remaining nutrients in the medium, you dont want to flush all the nutrients out like you would do for a short term, reset/emergency flush.

    Help with Green planets Massive

In my experience I used the full strength the entire time and cut it out when you are 2 weeks away from harvest. If you don't cut it out soon enough the plant will continue to push out new pistils. Pros: It definitely works, the buds respond very nicely and get thick and dense in a short period...
