Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

Day 39 Flower - Getting nice development around most of them. I trimmed pretty tight. The Durban Pouson still seems to be giving me the most trouble. Cal/Mag? I dunno. Overall pretty happy. Been feeding up to 1100ppm ph at 6.6-6.8 Mostly the roots organic nutrients with the recharge microbes...

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

This is where I have a tough time deciding what to do next? The Durban Poison seems to be yellowing and has a deficiency of some sort. Although, I've read that Sativa's should do well without too much feeding.... I've measured the runoff from the Durbans and it seemed low still so I'm wondering...

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

Update: Things are still looking pretty good. I’ve upped the Bloom formula to about700ppm. Alternating with recharge & plain water. They are 27 days into flower and most look like the last feeding helped green / plump them up. I’ve been adjusting the ph of the Roots Organics to 6.5-6.7 after...

    Aphids and Imid

Get some asian lady beetles or lady bugs. I had some aphids in my 4x8. I sprayed once or twice with azamax and trifecta. Been adding asian lady beetle from window sills. Seems to have controlled them for now?

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

Seem like they are little slow? Is this good progression heading from 2nd to 3rd week of flower?

    I Have Mold!!!

Trifecta is pretty good at controlling PM. Pretty spendy but it works well for pests as well are PM and it's organic plant oils.

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

So an update here : 2x flushed the 5 gal pots with about 2-2.5gals each. Top dressed each pot with about 2T Lime. I’ve fed with microbes once since the 2 flushes. I just last watered with Cal Mag, the kelp and carb catalyst from Roots at 300 ppm & 6.5-6.9. The plants have come back a bit. The...

    Over water Under Water

Just leave it alone for a few days. I wouldn't transplant, I would just let them dry up a bit and then give them only clean PH'd water. When the plant really starts to grow another set of leaves and looking 100% you can snip the dead ones off. For now I would leave well enough alone. But I'm...

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

So the slurry test was difficult with the droplet tester but I did my best. Mixed up a 50/50 mix. a little more water. let site for 30-40 mins till the solids settled out. Scooped up the relatively clear water. Tested out over 6ph for sure. Probably more like 6.2-6.4 I think either the flushing...

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

I did a rapid ph test with the soil and water and powder and it came out around 6.5. I also watered in about 3T of lime into each pot about 3 days ago with a ton of water and turbulence to work it into soil

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

So besides not adding any more nutrients. Should I be doing anything more? Add liquid lime (suggested above- by a hydro store maybe?) just keep running water through until I see a deficiency? Foliage feed ?

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

Hey you know I quit drinking 15 years ago because I like to push everything to the limit!! JK But yeah that makes sense. Just measured the spring water again it’s around 6.2-6.4 and the PPM 12. So I’m going to let them dry up a bit and then give them a heavy rerunning water like last time cpl...

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

By Spring water I menat the overflow outside. My whole house is fed by the spring water. I just was curious if there was any difference out of the ground vs out of my old copper pipes? But in any case it's nice water, 40-60ppm and 6.2-6.5ppm

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

I hear you. That's what I was trying to do "bubble" some organic nutrient teas... I guess I over did it. I didn't notice this trouble in outdoors but the pots were also 25 g with a ton of amendments. The plentiful soil must have been able to buffer these in the 25 gal pots and then again maybe...

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

Many of you seem to be in agreement that they were overfed. So if it was too many nutes and a lock out. It seems like the flush and lime have helped and I'll just water for now...But how do I feed again as you say if I do notice deficiencies? What PPM would you suggest? And I should ignore...

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

I must add that since I top dressed with lime and flushed each 5g pot with 3gal? of water they are looking much better. I will post update when I get home with lights on later.

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

OK. I have a hard time believing it's build up as I only fed 2x in those pots. I've rotated between water, water+recharge, & just fed. The PPM has was 800ppm one feeding and 1200 just this last. They've only been in the 5g pots for 3 weeks in 100% FFOF. It's possible with the nutrients in the...

Roots Organics - PH Too Low?

I was only using aeration for about 72 hours to bring ph I guess. I bet the water after it sits in root ball for a day or 2 loses that oxygenation and tanks the PH again :/ Hoping the lime helps too but definitely looking better than yesterday.
