Can anyone explain why my roots are so embarrassing lol... pic inside

...sounds like you are growing in plain coco. I also grow that way. Two things come to mind reading your post. First, Advanced Nutrients use “pH perfect” technology. Meaning if you add pH adjusters it throws off the mix and can cause issues. I even called their hotline and they said if my...

    Deficiency help needed!

Are you using “pH perfect” Advanced nutes? Are you adjusting the pH? How often are you feeding? What is the input EC (PPM)? I don’t think it’s light burn....

First Grow - How Does It Look?

...mean you already paid for the product. Might as well get the most out of it right? But @bunkerking is right to point you to my post. I see a lot of problems caused by people (including myself at one time) pH correcting PH Perfect nutes. Give them a call. They can explain it in more detail...

    Deficiency help needed!

Ok. A lot has already been said but I’ll throw in my 2cents. Do not Ph adjust “pH perfect” nutes. They are designed for the rookie grower that doesn’t have a TDS or pH meter. If the mix is anywhere between pH 4-8 it will work fine. I got that from the company when I called their grower help...

Advanced Nutrient And Water Reservoir Question

I have ran AN nutes. Yes, they will be fine for a week. If you’re running the pH perfect line, your good anywhere from a pH of 4-8. Those nutes are designed to feed the plant at a wide range of pH. Adding pH adjusters will mess with the solution. I don’t use AN anymore as I prefer more control.

    lockout or deficiency in coco

...in coco. Plants that size will probably need twice a day fertigation. Also from personal experience, do not add pH adjusters to AN “pH perfect” nutes. If the final pH of your mix is anywhere between 4-8, you’re good. Adding pH adjusters will mess with the chemistry and cause problems. I...

    Whats Your Personal Preference

...and nice buds. Plus I would rather support a fellow grower, than Monsanto (now Bayer) by buying GH or Botanicare. I have tried Advanced pH perfect Sensi line. It’s ok for newer growers that aren’t used to pH correcting their feeds. But I found it hard not to fiddle with and corrected the...

    Coco Seedling Issue

Looks like a PH issue to me. If you’re correcting your PH...stop. With AN PH perfect line, if you adjust the PH you mess with the chelates and surfactants that are designed to feed the plant between a PH of 4-8. If you’re anywhere in that range, you’re good. I know it sounds crazy, but call the...

I responded in your other thread, but yes, stop adjusting the pH when using pH perfect nutes.

...mine was parking in the mid 6 range and I’m using RO. So I would adjust down to 5.7 and the next day it was 6.5 again. I believe the pH perfect line is great for new growers that may not have all the knowledge and equipment (like a pH pen) yet. However, if you are like me and need to control...

    Small Brown Spots Post Transplant

Do you mean .8 EC? Also, are you really using bloom nutes in new clones? I used the ph perfect stuff this last run, and they’re right about the range. The nutes will feed the plants with any ph between 4-8, although the solution likes to stay around 6 when mixed in the res. Trying to adjust the...

Would Say You Behind For An Auto Of Her Age?

Perfect. Nice work farmer. Keep doing 3x a day irrigations and slowly increase the EC weekly as she grows. You’ll eventually find where the plant is happy. Keep a log of what you’re doing each week. That way if you clone this strain, you’ll have a reference point to make tweaks the next run.

    Exact Number?

IMO, you’re good. I grow in coco as well and 5.7-6.0 is where I like to hang out. Just a tip. If you’re using the ph perfect AN line, do not ph correct anything. Just mix and check ppm. Adding ph up or down will mess with the formula and cause issues. My run off ph last grow tend to go down...

    New To Ro

I have grown with the AN Sensi line. It has their “ph perfect” technology. I was having some issues with it and I called their growers line. They said do not adjust the ph. The special chelates and surfactants are designed to “feed” the plant at a wide range of ph. He said if I had a ph anywhere...

    First Grow 4x4 Hid System.

You could use Advanced Nutrients PH perfect line and you wouldn’t need to worry about it anymore. With that stuff, as long as you’re between a ph or 4-8, your good. I live in a rec legal state. I just throw them in the yard debris can. lol

I don’t grow DWC so I’m not going to speculate on what might be going on there. However, I have used AN PH perfect nutes before and was having similar issues on the leaf. I’ll pass on to you what was told to me, and worked. Do not PH correct your solution. The chelates and surfactants in PH...

...what I thought. You’re very detail oriented like I am. Which means you’re going to have an issue with this, DO NOT adjust the ph on the ph perfect line. You’re messing up the additives, chelates, and surfactants they have engineered to “feed” the plant between 4.0 and 8.0. If your ph is...

...line of Advanced nutes before. FWIW, I found the line a little heavy on the nitrogen. Also, don’t pH correct your solution when using the pH perfect nutes. It will cause pH issues like odd yellow leaf patches and twisted leaves. I know that sounds weird, but it’s true with those nutes. If you...

    Sick Plant Needs A Doctor

I’m not sure if this is your problem, but it very well could be. If you are using thier PH perfect nutes do not adjust the ph.
