I'm running a 15min flood every 2 hours. The lowest setting on my timer is 15min. If I could break it down further, I'd set it to flood just long enough to fill up, and flood more frequently. Like a 5min. flood every 30-60min. I'm debating one flood per hour.

Some of the roots are trying to grow up and then down into the overflow tube. They're really searching out trying to find their way into the main reservoir.

As I suspected and from what my buddy told me, the plants are getting their stride once the roots hit the bottom of the pots/tray. The growth over the last two days is beginning to become much more noticeable now. They're pulling away from the soil plants.

Flower (Day 34) I snapped some photos of some other girls not named 9lb. Blueberry. Celestial Ghost - TALL. This phenotype is definitely Ghost Train Haze leaning. Did I mention she's tall? She would definitely need some training if height were a concern. Even with her height, she's stacking...

I agree, they're definitely getting a bigger light. 👍 It's a new tent so I'm using one of the T5's out of the veg rack temporarily. I'm building a 6 COB 3500K 97 CRI light for that new 2x4 tent once the parts arrive. I'll run it at 40-50w per square foot. Each COB can be pushed as far as 95w...

I don't remember the exact soak date. They were taken out of the incubator tray and put into the F&D tote on 11/24. (needed time to build it) The others were put into soil four days earlier on 11/20. The seeds were all germinated at the same time.

I'm not sure if you're asking in regards to the tea, or hydro vs. soil. On the latter, not just yet. I expect this to change though. I was just talking about this with a buddy this morning. I have not noticed a difference in growth from my soil plants started at the same time. However, my roots...

Update: My first experimental hydro run in the DIY F&D tote seems to be chugging right along. I had one quick overnight PH increase right after my first reservoir change. I adjusted the PH and surprisingly it's seemed pretty steady since then. I started adding my Bennie tea. (3 cups at...

First Grow Sunset Sherbert And Superglue

6 New clones planted 11 days ago in soil. (Three Sherbet and three Super Glue) Only the Sherbet is having issues. When I got the clones home I noticed a faint curl on the edges of one fan leaf. Slowly all three Sherbets had older fan leaves curling and...

Mini update: Day 31 Hyper Dragon - Structure is single cola stacking with almost no lateral growth. It would be ideal for SOG. Its flowers however are already chunky and sporting some nice trichome development. It's central stalk is nice and robust. I'm not getting much of a distinct nose...

I hear ya. That's the great thing about growing. It can be completely tailor-made to fit everyone's different style or approach. Everyones idiosyncrasies are different. For me, I personally don't touch the flowers unless it's absolutely necessary. Even when I'm harvesting and trimming, I use...

I try to never touch the flowers unless I have to. There hasn't been a whole lot of stem rubbing either. I'm only getting brief individual aromas when I'm working with them and I haven't tried dissecting that information yet. It's been more, "Oh, that smells good" while I'm inspecting them...

Welcome to my new, all inclusive thread. Rather than starting a new thread for every new endeavor, I've decided to consolidate it into one special place. The first chapter in this story is the switch from HPS to LED. This will be an interesting first...

I decided to add a sight tube for the reservoir today. This will take the guess work out of how much they're drinking, and it'll make checking the water level much easier. Since I was installing the site tube, I decided to try my first reservoir change. Day 29 Astro Black - It's been...

Again, this can only be my personal opinion. First, I think Quantum Boards are expensive. But I decided to "Pay to play" anyway. If someone want's to grow with LED, I personally believe QB's or COB's are far superior to cheaper "blurples." However, even though I've never used cheap "blurples," I...

I don't have pure, factual data from any side by side tests for comparison. So I can merely share my own personal opinion on it without any merit to base it upon. With that said, I'm happy to have the lights vs. not. There's been plenty of studies on the effects UV has on cannabis. Here's a...
