Need info cracking 25 year old seeds?

I've had great luck using a "rooting solution" of iba, kelp extract, and aspirin in the germination medium. Impressive initial results on clones as well. Sorry. Formula. 500mL H2O .01g IBA 5g liquid kelp extract 100mg aspirin Sprayed over the medium before planting the seeds, and on the...

    CBD....CBD/THC Strain Recommendations

Addiction is all in the Default Mode Network. It's a self-reinforcing pattern that's created by satisfying the chemical cravings. The default mode network is weakened or dissolved by psychedelics, which is what makes people more immediately open and adaptable. Michael Pollan's How to Change...

    CBD....CBD/THC Strain Recommendations

Opiates are fucking poison. Been addicted twice, both times quit cold turkey. One right after a major surgery. For anyone trying to stop using them, I HIGHLY recommend Kratom. It's not perfect, but nobody has ever OD'ed from it, and it binds to the opioid receptors to kill the cravings. It's...

    CBD....CBD/THC Strain Recommendations

Gotta go straight to the breeder. Ace, for example, has most of their strains tested for cannabinoid and terpene content analysis.

The Mystery Behind Powdery Mildew by Todd McCormick

Todd's a great dude! I've got some original haze, super lemon haze x Jack Herer, and ON haze x wedding cake en route. Really excited to grow and especially breed with them. 🤣 That's a fantastic way of thinking about it. Painfully accurate, too.

    ANTS IN SOIL!?

Putting a plant in living soil outside will attract all kinds of things- you're essentially combining ecosystems. I wouldn't worry about ants unless you see they're doing damage to the plant.

Those leopard spots are nice! I'm annoyed that I haven't been able to find 50# bags of any flour, let alone 00, so it'll be a while before I can get a Neapolitan system cranked up again. 🙁

    This Be How Dirbag Do...

Yeah, I cut right at about 9 weeks, maybe 9.5. You'll be surprised at how quickly she just decides to be finished. Your setup is definitely more dialed in than mine (even more so than when I grew that cut out the first time), so it's entirely possible she'll throw white pistils out longer for you.

    High CBG dominate strains

For those of you in the States, cbdistillery has pure CBD and CBG isolates at a really reasonable price. With a substantial bulk discount, iirc.

Why don't regular farmers have problems like we do?

Tell that to the people in Rioja, Ribera del Duero, the Duoro valley in Portugal, Sicily, Campania (Taurasi), Greece, and Australia. 😉 It all depends on the varietal, how it's farmed, and how it matches the terroir. You're right in that weather plays a big factor, but things like harvest time...

Why don't regular farmers have problems like we do?

That and heat, yeah? Seems like it's really similar conceptually to wine grapes grown in hot climates like Spain or Southern California.

I'm going to be starting a BRF-tek project in the next few days, any experience with that?

Why don't regular farmers have problems like we do?

Either that or water deprived ones. There are tomato farmers on the east coast that don't water at all past May, and they turn out the most absurdly flavorful tomatoes I've ever had.

    A grow diary.

Next time I'll cut the dough recipe by a third, but other than the ratio of dough to toppings this was pretty good. Shredded parm over the top before baking, which contributed to the caramelization on the top, but it also affected the texture in an unpleasant way.
