    Week4Bytch ..The Cannabis Karen

Agree, only greensand takes forever to break down. (Could be mistaken on that idea, maybe confusing it with Azomite) Lot longer than Kelp Meal. The magnesium does draw concern. Feel like I'm playing Russian Roulette to be honest. Only thing keeping me sane is the Langbeinite is a slow release...

    Week4Bytch ..The Cannabis Karen

I use spring water from seed to finish. Never have any trouble with anything. 5 bucks a case, so it wouldn't be feasible for outdoors. Just saying

    Week4Bytch ..The Cannabis Karen

I like to have worms and bugs so they tend to speed up the process. Green sand releases quickly initially AND then also slowly over time, it is unique

Are fox farm products declining in quality?

I'm on my umpteenth grow using re-used ff soil. Some greensand and compost, worm castings and dr earth. Will never keep buying soil. Anyone doing the reused the right way, will have an increasingly better soil. I also add more perlite. Not having a single problem so far, but that's me.

Are fox farm products declining in quality?

My used soil either top dresses my outdoor garden or gets used to plant seedlings etc then I remake my indoor weed soil fresh typically. Makes for cheap veggies and weed outdoors, a couple bags last me a couple indoor grows so reusing is more of a pia than anything for my indoor.

Everytime I turn my light up, I get the yellow brick road....

The greensand in there takes over a year to breakdown, kinda weird they put that in there. I like what else is in there though.

Just regular sand when it’s done cooking I might add a little more I want to just barely be able to see it in the mix. I was lookin into that compost & bio char but it says it’s only 20% biochar on the bag so I took a disposable tin tray and started a small fire with dry maple and oak sticks...

Cal-Mag and Gypsum; too much calcium ?

Thanks for that. I would recommend some Langbeinite, aka Kmag, and possibly some greensand/Basalt or Epsom Salts. As far as dosing goes, most minerals you'll want 1-2 Tbsp/gal of soil. Azomite probably more like 2-3 Tbsp/gal. Epsom Salts you'll want like 1-2 tsp/gal of soil. I would also...

    Opinions? Any Suggestions? Hopefully Help

I basically did searches on Google scholar, I can cite the references if you need me too. Greensand is a K source type of sand. Zeolite is basically a type of mineral that aids in drainage but also can act as storage for nutrients & bacteria. As for carbs like sugars I do add them, just figure...
