The method is pretty straight forward, its finding good sources for a kit. As sshz commented, not the best reviews.....takes practice, and the cost of the little kits adds up fast. Especially if you got a couple different strains going and then the control group has to be tested or its just...
Also have some schedules that goes beyond a 14 day cycle, but extends to 21 days. Main difference is the incremental increase in duration steps up from 30 minutes to an hour to max time is much smaller.
I can dump all the scheduling schemes (up to about 10) that I've tried if interested.
Its basically to give the plants a break, after the ending of week 1 @ 2.5 hours. That's a terrible explanation.... The plants seem to build more bud density during a "lull" or low point in UVB intensity/duration if that makes sense.
Your trying to almost "train" the plant to respond to the...
I've used this light for almost 2 years now.....did side by sides, etc. Here is the schedule I've found works for most all strains.
Definitely keep a 3ft distance from canopy at ALL times.
Make sure you or your skin is nowhere near those lights when the red light on top is flashing!
Yep, that design has several trouble area's. Roots would entangle from plant to plant, flooding also comes to mind if there is a blockage from roots.....and there would be.
Would cost a fortune in nutrients..... The amount of water you have doesn't help with PH stability.....what's IN the water...
And unless someone has a crystal ball NOBODY can tell you what to do to help without the needed information......
So instead of just asking more of the same questions that nobody can answer, post some helpful information that you were asked to provide.
Just a thought.
Make sure you identify the problem before taking actions. You need to identify what type of mite you may have as that determines how to treat for them. Can't kill mites in one application. The eggs will hatch and new mites are born.
If its a ph issue, then obviously you go a different...
Scope your plants with at least 40x to 60x magnification. Look at the underside of the leaves and stems. You will see tiny little bugs and white little balls (eggs) if you have mites. Doesn't look like it, but better safe than sorry.
To check PH and EC/PPM/TDS levels, you water/feed until there...
Autos are fun! Light feeders usually......but usually trouble free.
Your plants are looking awesome as usual!
What level PPM's are you running in hydro?? These bitches keep sucking down the EC levels in both EPI and top off tanks! Pretty sure that's a first....lol
Doesn't matter....you should have seen a drop in tds.
With proper installation your whole house filter system should be adequate for what your trying to do.
Do yourself a favor and take a pressure reading. As I stated, these filters need pressure to work properly.
Wow! That looks like a great light! Gotta love Gavita!
Put me down for "don't change a thing" please. I love these threads! I love the details, the pictures, the information is priceless IMHO.
I've been here for well over 10 years now.....these threads u post are right up there with some of...
Hey have you considered adding a UVB light for the last 2 weeks of flower? Using the one from California Lightworks has shown serious improvement on potency and trich production. Couldn't imagine being without it now.
