Why are my Seedling leaves are curling down?

Hello everyone, It’s been a while since I’ve posted but am having an issue I can’t seem to solve with the research I’m doing. I am on my 3rd indoor grow, but am very much still new to this. I have 6 autos; 3x Cherry Fog, 3x Landlocked Funk. (First experience with Autos) 3-4 of them have their...

What is this? Odd yellow striping

This is something new to me. I haven’t seen anything else quite like it in my readings. Different plants are exhibited this as well, what seems like a yellow boarder on some of the larger leaves, towards the top. I just noticed this today, watered and fed yesterday. The plants seem overall...

    K deficiency?

Thank you az2000. I was wondering that as I knew general watering can cause this. So is it best to do it while lights are out for the night? I read some people do it, but raise the light while it is on. I’d prefer the safest method

    K deficiency?

That’s a great idea, I’ll limit it to one plant on one side, and see if it helps. I definitely need to learn how to foliar feed, so this will be a good learning curve. I’m reading to try and limit these feedings to once a week? I have Calmag+and CNS 17 3-2-1 from Botanicare that I used from my...

    K deficiency?

Thank you both. I will try feeding them a smaller % of what the bottle recommends and see if it helps. As well as wet down the soil beforehand. I agree after a month, they probably are using up a majority of certain nutrients. Definitely doing a slurry test today.

    K deficiency?

Understood. I will check the Ph of the soil and runoff and see where it’s at. I do need a Ppm meter. So I’ll be getting that online this week. I do have a noob question pertaining to foliar feeding as I’ve never tried it before. How does one foliar feed with Cal-Mag, or epsom salts? Idk why but...

    K deficiency?

I can try that. I’ll see what feeding one at this time will do for it. If I get positive results I’ll continue with the others. Thanks for the advice!

    K deficiency?

Hello all, I have a small issue going on I have been having troubles with diagnosing. I just came back from Vacation for 8 days, and came home to changes in the tent. The plants look overall great, however there are leaf edges on a few plants that have gone yellow or have yellow spots on the...

Yellowing veins and spots on older leaves?

I will do that. Small increments at a time when I need to change things. That way I can ease back if I notice they aren’t adapting to the changes right off and not much damage is done. I’ll do that with nutes as well when the time comes. Appreciate the help. You gave me sound advice on my...

Yellowing veins and spots on older leaves?

Okay I got you. So it probably shocked them a bit just throwing them into a new stronger setting. I will ease the light up a few inches to see it it helps them transition into things.

Yellowing veins and spots on older leaves?

Understood. I wasn’t sure if they could use better light at this size. I could also turn the wattage down to 200w if you think that will help. The reason why I I did the switch was I did this on my last grow, but kept them under 200W during the early stages and turned it up as they grew larger...

Yellowing veins and spots on older leaves?

I can do that. Do you think it’s the light causing stress?

Yellowing veins and spots on older leaves?

Hello everyone. I am on my second grow, So I am still pretty new to growing and diagnosing issues. I have looked at similar questions asked here and on other forums and finding multiple diagnosis. When I first started these seedlings out, I overwatered them a bit and am hoping this is residual...

    Seedlings with dying bottom leaves

Thanks guys! I do have a decent understanding of the NPK ratio and the general needs of the plant, PH etc. But I definitely have trouble diagnosing issues that arise, deficiencies certain dos and don’ts . You totally called it, being new to this does make it tough to decipher who’s giving you...

    Seedlings with dying bottom leaves

That is something I do need to learn more about, I’m not going to pretend. My first grow I will admit I was lucky not to have many issues apart from some Nute burn during the middle of Veg which was sorted. And yes, they are in soil, so far with these guys I have not added any nutrients yet, as...

    Seedlings with dying bottom leaves

Ohh I got you. That went over my head for a minute. So adding some more balanced soil can help a plant that isn’t getting enough or correct nutrients to depleting soils

    Seedlings with dying bottom leaves

Understood, these answers were extremely helpful. I keep a notebook and will be logging this in. So I will definitely ease up on the watering from now on out, and give them a more thorough watering when the pots feel light. I will also get them into darker and slightly larger pots...

    Seedlings with dying bottom leaves

Here are a couple shots of the two seedlings today. The leaves do appear to be pointing down moreso. In a room temp setting, with decent airflow how often should a seedling be watered? When they show signs and wilt slightly? Daily/2 days/3 days? I’m finding many mixed answers.
