    Advanced Nutrients vs. General Hydroponics

First the question should be asked as to what makes AN better? Plants need NPK and other micro nutes ect. right? what's the difference in how the plant acquires them. now strain, lighting, co2 or proper ventilation should be most peoples concerns. If your getting your plants the right nutes then...

    Illegal nute in Cali?

there is a current sticky thread about the products you seek. ^^^^^^ Bushmaster was another one pulled in cali.

Canna PK 13/14 Vs AN Hammerhead pk 4/10

I'd say its a good idea to see what normal nutes will do first or you will never have a comparison. you can also do a side by side and only treat half your plants. mix up your nutes and water half the room. than add your supplement and water the rest. see how one side of the room does compared...

Phosphoload, Gravity, Bushmaster, Topload, and Flower Dragon are TOXIC!

I can say that i stopped using both Bushmaster and Gravity just to be safe because i'm not the only one smoking the weed . you just cant put out a product that consumers aren't informed of. if your gonna keep all the gear than pour whatever the fuck you want into the mix. in time most growers...

please help me identify my nutrient deficiencies

I agree w/ most about not over thinking things. If you're using fox farm nutes than just stick w/ their schedule, maybe a little cal mag if need be. I always alternate nutrient feedings and plain waterings. Make sure to get some run off. I've found w/ soil that around 6.6-6.7 is a good ph for...

    quick indoor to outdoor ?

I agree that the seeds should be fine to go outdoors. The days are getting longer so they shouldn't want to flower. I always do the same thing w/ old moms once a year. Either slowy bring the time they r under lights indoor to match whats going on outside or move them back under a light for a...

    SEEDS: Generational Degeneration? a Myth?

If this were true i'd say that good ole "Mexi" weed would have been hemp years ago. Remember how many seeds we used to have to pick out. It doesn't seem like they were culling males or hermies for years down there and it hasn't turned out to be hemp yet. Sometimes i kick myself thinking back of...

Clones looking worse by the minute

It sounds like me that your just jumping the gun on things. You should use a fluorescent or T5 light for small clones or small transplants. This allows for the roots to reach out into the medium you are using so they can absord water. I also agree that plain water is best or a light cloning...

Hey just wanting to know if any indoor growers have finished any of the choc. thai crosses BG put out last yr. Clones looking worse by the minute

^^^^^^^^^^^ Like they all said, too much crap being sprayed, too much light/heat. Have you transplanted to any other medium or are they just cubes w/ roots sitting in a tray? If so then move to lower light area until they perk up, then get them into something to protect the roots before you...

    Purple Kush and Blue Moonshine

Hey sorry i haven't checked on this thread in a few days. They were in 3 gal. pots but are such a slow vegger that i had to switch them a bit earlier than i wanted due to the rest of the rooms size. I only did 5 and got about 70 grams per plant. The Blue Moonshine gets between a 100 to 112g per...

    Purple Kush and Blue Moonshine

As far as i've been told its DJ Shorts BM. I've had a mother for about 4 yrs now and my homie who gifted it has had it almost twice as long. Damn things are hard as hell to clone but are worth the time. Its the only strain he's given me thats straight out under lock and key. Kinda sucks having...

    Purple Kush and Blue Moonshine

Here are a couple shots of my last run. The Blue Moonshine ended up almost a black purple due to some cooler temps towards the end. P kush came out super frosty and grape smelling. Just a little disappointed w. the P Kush's yield so not a keeper. Moonshine was rock hard and dank as usual...

    Sourkush/jack herer/blue venom

Shits looking damn good for your first run. I'd only recommend maybe thinning them out a bit or find something less restrictive than the wire holding them up. Both should allow a bit more air to get throughout the room. Also make sure its not too humid w/ large changes in temp. from day to...

    Yellowing/Burned Cuttings

Looks like normal yellowing a lot of cuts get after rooting for a long time. They use up all their N while rooting and it takes a few days after transplanting. If new growth looks similar you have a def. somewhere but i think once they take off things will be fine.

    Volts/Amps

I think you'll be pushing it on a 15amp 110 v breaker running 2 1000w's @ 9.5 amps each. You can try and see, plus its simple and cheap to replace a breaker. I would be seriously stressed of a fire though. You need higher guaged wiring to run the 240v setting. You could replace your 15amp...

    Strain Selection

IMHO one thing to consider is where are you going to get rid of your product when its finished? If your buyer cant sell anything you have than it doesnt really matter how good it is. You will always be able to get rid of good kush (og is a no brainer), i have found any diesel (sour especially)...

House panel endorses repeal of medical marijuana law

I'm not sure how Montana's laws read regarding the repeal of a voter "proposition" and a state "senate bill". Here in California they can't change a proposition through a state bill. This has been why all cases have been won by defendants in regards to possesion limits and plant numbers. Only...

Help with electronic ballast 120v or 240v

I'm not sure of the tech stuff in regards to being smoother but i like 240 just because i can run more ballasts. Using 240 lets me do up to 8 ballasts w/ a 40 amp breaker compared to only normally getting 3 maybe 4 if you were pushing it on a 120v system and had 2 20 amp breakers.

HORTILUX DUAL ARCHS caught on FIRE!!!

What is the product code number of your bulbs? There are so many different types. I think they have reg. blue bulbs and the dual arc. I looked up LU1000MH/HTL/EN . I says its a horizontal burning bulb only and should be enclosed. Maybe you have a different bulb but if thats your code # above see...
